WOW! That is a horrible story. But I'm wondering why in the world would she take it off, especially A) being it costs $25k and you just got married (wouldnt you want to keep it on). Like Tami said, I would NEVER have taken it off. It is very unfortunate that this happened. Great Customer service is already hard to come by, and I can imagine how the language barriers made it even more difficult! I guess they don't search the employees at the Majestic like at other resorts I've heard mentioned in the DR. If it really was stolen, I'm assuming someone had to know it was in the safe or saw her with it. I never felt comfortable leaving anything in a safe anyway, this story just justifies my reasoning. I hope everything works out for her.
