  1. I am from sacramento and for us it was the length of the flight and lack of humidity I think that were our biggest deciding factors. We had considered cancun, but most our guests were coming from the west coast and the flight being only 3 hours or less was ideal. Plus it can get humid in cancun or that area and I didn't want that at all and also cancun is so busy and fast pace. I know there are parts of that area outside cancun that are slower pace and nice as well but it was mostly the travel time. I didn't look too much into PV...I think because I had been to cabo once before and never to PV once we knew we wanted pacific side i think cabo seemed to be the easiest.
  2. Wow! you are on it! You have thought of everything! Now relax and enjoy your trip and wedding!! Congrats!
  3. Super HOT!! I love those...how fun...I never did it but your men are sure lucky!
  4. Shelly, I am so happy for you that your day is finally here!!! I hope it's everything you imagined and more! Everything looks amazing and I can't wait to see pics!
  5. Ana! Congrats!! Your review was awesome and you looked so beautiful! I love your dress...can I just say that somehow I managed to not go to the bathroom once during my wedding/reception until the very end of the night...this is odd coming from the girl that can't make it the whole 45 minutes to work in the morning! Definately awkward though when you have to not only go with this big ass dress but with friends in there helping you!
  6. Great review of the vendors...can I just say that the "amazing race" idea to find you and hubby at the welcome dinner is so cool!!! what a unique and fun idea!!! I love it!!!

Hubby and I ate breakfast with his mom and grandfather that morning at the buffet place and then since my wedding was at Fiesta Americana my girlfriends went and got some food to bring back to the room and I just remember eating a tortilla and like 2 bites of beans and champagne prior to the wedding. I did eat our food at the reception but I don't remember what it tasted like and I don't think I ate a full plate.
  8. Omg! I just love your pics! You were absolutely stunning in the wedding pics and the trash the dress and I just love the flower girl sombreros!
  9. I know you are overwhelmed and you are trying to find the best deal for your guests. I don't mean to sound harsh...but you will most likely find more information by searching the forum for what you are looking for then posting the same exact thread in 5 or 6 different areas. Alot of people search the forum for new posts and will definately see your post no matter what area you post it in. There is so much information on this forum from all of us who have been married and those still planning and usually it's not hard to find at least some info that will help you out.
  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLY! Hope you have a great day!
  11. Congrats on the wedding....I know you are kicking yourself...but in time you will be okay with it.
  12. Those are great!!!! Nice work Tammy and Sarah you look sooo good!!!! You are just glowing!
  13. That's great info!!! I was wondering why at both linen and things and mervyns the sales sucked...I expected them to be bigger discounts and they weren't...I assumed they wold want everything gone...but I guess not...

Thanks! xoxo I ditto this...even thought we didn't technically get married at dreams...we stayed there the whole time of our wedding....would we be eligible for any current deals? Price is very important...but we were kinda considering a trip out there next summer before I have kids and then the pot would be really dried!!
  16. I agree...I think you should do it. Plus...if you don't like it or are feeling homesick really bad...you would still have your house in jersey...so you don't have to stay a full year right? You won't know until you try....
  17. I think it looks nice...and most often with a destination wedding you don't need the flowers like you would if you rented a hall back home...the local is pretty enough. Keep it simple and incorporate the candles and sea shells/starfish and it will look great!
  18. great review and the pics are awesome!! can't wait to see more.
  19. Those are great!!!! I just love them!!!! I'm glad you decided to do them because they are definately worth it!
