I am in the process of getting my stuff together so I thought I would share what I am doing for my sisters (both are MOH's) I found these bags late last Spring on clearance at Target so I snatched them up. They are purple and white canvas. You can't really tell from the photo but they have two handles one to carry it like a grocery bag and another, in the middle, so you can carry it like a purse. When you use the purse-like handle you can only have the bag filled half way up cause the bag folds up--no clue if that makes sense! I bought these cute little pen/paper sets at a local store. Wellspring It is the small pink thing. There is also 3 tubes of this massage cream my sister likes so I got her 3 different kinds. When we were going to do a DW I bought them luggage tags, I couldn't find first initals so I go their last initals. Finally the book! I made these Dr. Suess inspired books for them. I will do my best to load some pictures here so you can kind of see what I did. Edit: one more thing...These are the pashmina's I am giving them the day of the wedding. One is for the warmth in color and the other is for warm in heat. Hot pink and black

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I know she got a new job a while back so maybe she thinks she needs to work instead of hang around here--so NOT ok! Jen's not that far behind her. All the girls that were here when I joined are now getting married. I feel so bonded!!

Yeah the spacing is odd-sorry gonna be honest here. I wonder why they did it that way. Could you add some sparkle to them to make them "pop" ? Maybe a few sparkly beads or something? Unique embellishments for wedding invitations If I were you I would just look at what I could do to make them better. One option would be to replace the invite part and use the rest. The invite is the first thing people see and if it bugs you--try jazzing it up. ok now I am rambling. I am very willing to help you out, if you want to scan the invite and send it to me I can mock up some stuff for you.

I guess I would have to say I am sorry you really don't like them. One thing to keep in mind is that, as painful as it maybe to think about, people don't often keep the invites. You may spend an extra $500 on something else that basically does the same thing your other invites already do--give details on the wedding. Now that being said I would have no clue what I would do if I were in your shoes. Kind of a crappy situation!

I really like the sun logo but it is a bit hard to read what you have written in the smaller font. Nice lay-out!

I agree that it isn't in poor taste. We are each writing a card to our future in laws and taking them out to brunch. Oh and we are just giving each set of parents a bottle of wine. But, our parents have chipped in some money, about $1,500.

That stinks! I am surprised he would be that offended by the thought. Did he say why another man can't come over to paint? Is he confused and thinks "paint" means "sex"? I bet that's it!!

I am doing 2 possibly 3. They told me that the first one is to get an idea of what has to be done, the second is to see how the alterations look on the dress and you and the third will be if they needed to make any changes from your second fitting. I would say to do at least the two as you have no clue how the dress will look after the first set of alterations.

OMG that would be painful-NO BDW for a while!! You really are getting close to your date--so exciting!
