I have having a lot done and mine are around $300. Mine is bustle and taking it in in a few areas plus adding some satin to the back. I would take your dress to an independent person and get a quote. Good luck.

I am not around enough to nominate but have you ever considered a Vendor of the month? There are some vendors who go above and beyond and who really don't seem to be fishing for business.

I agree, waiting was hard. Mine will be staying at the shop until the last minute. I would hate to get it dirty. I think you will be so busy with other stuff you won't sit at home thinking about it.

It hurts because it is true. We have not told one vendor it was a wedding in hopes of saving money. uggh!

HA! Sorry but you a so funny. I do agree with you that it seems like they are a little more "ho-ish" than when I was that age. I wonder if it has to do with easier access and being able to get your pictures up and posted. It wasn't until I was in HS that the WWW was big and digital cameras were not around.
