Hey 2011 brides...

you think there is plenty of time.. but things move SUPER fast!

I got engaged in 2008, and our wedding is taking place in Febraury 2011... its good to take it easy, but it will soon be time to make all those decisions...

We started looking at locations and resorts first... recently got all the invites out (wanted to give guests a year to prep) with all the information. THEN when it came down to pricing for the guests.. we found out the the hotel we chose was riddiculously expensive!! Too much money to travel during Valentines week in February! Thank goodness we still have time to 'change out resort'....

basically, there is no such thing at 'too soon' to start planning... in cases like this!!

Happy Planning.... its fun if you let it be... but it car get pretty stressful if you let it also! CHEERS!!!!

Hey everyone, just popping in to say hello, Im usually on the other 2001 brides thread, but love 2 pop over here from time to time to see how everyone are getting on... :-)

 

Wow some of you ladies are under 12 mnths now... its so exciting :-) Cant wait til we get to that stage.... We still havent been able to book our wedding yet... roll on May... then i can be even more excited as it will be booked and confirmed!!!

Well its official I booked the date and time with couples. July 8, 2011 @ 10:00 a.m.. I am now in the process of booking a photographer.

I really haven't done anything as yet. I do feel like it is far away. I have found my dress though, but we haven't decided on venue as yet, and that is the big one that we have to do soon and then we can relax for a bit after that I guess.

i havent been on here in a long time, but just saw ur post, and u and i are getting married the same day!!!!!
that date will be 10 yrs since my FI and i had met.

hey everyone....havent been on here in a while....for reasons. but anyways, things are coming a lon with my planning. Last nite my FI and i finished our save the dates, and are mailing them out this week!

i did a luggage tag style save the date. will for sure post a pic as soon as i can.

hope everyones planning is comin a long!!!

Hey Ashley! Good to see you're back! Sounds like things are coming along nicely, congrats on getting the save the dates done! We're hoping to get ours out in the next few weeks as well.

I just got my save the dates in the mail today and will be mailing them out this week! So exciting to actually see my date and location printed on something "official" for the first time. One year to go!
