This is your day, no such thing as being overdressed My dress has a lot going on, so I am keeping the accessories simple and minimal.

Ahhh I am hoping for 2. Besides any wedding stuff we are taking, we also have all of our scuba diving equipment. It adds up so fast!

I can't wait to do the TTD session

I am currently torn about what to do for the reception. It looks like we will have approx 25-30 people going with us. My fiance wants everything to be as simple as possible. He wants the ceremony and then for everyone to kind of just go with the flow. I, on the other hand, kind of want the formal feel of a wedding day. I would like to have the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and then the reception. Originally I thought we would have the semi-formal reception and then just hit the lobby or disco for the remainder of the night for those who wanted to continue to party. But now I am leaning towards having the reception on the beach with music (since this is a one time opportunity for that to happen). What did you do for your reception? How did it go? Do you wish you would have picked a different option? Decisions, decisions! Thanks

Good thread, I have been starting to wonder about the same things.

We are getting married on February 21st. We first started dating on this same date back when we were 16 and when we get married it will be our 12th anniversary.

We are also not going to have a DJ, just going to bring an iPod and go with the flow

We wanted to do something different and fun. We also didn't want to spend a lot of money on a wedding.

Thanks for sharing, we have been considering whether to do the legal stuff either before or after.

I don't think we are going to do programs, but we will see as the date gets closer Possibly a fan program.

This is something we have been debating, whether to get legally married here either before or after

I like the list, something that I think I should do to figure the same issue out

Great thread...I have been going over and over in my head about what to do...we love dancing but its hard to justify the cost when we are not going to have a lot of people..hmmm
