What if you glue your metallic paper (with all the wording already printed) onto a normal white cardboard. That will give ti strength and you can still use the paper that you liked so much

Future Mrs Sears I have done mines and I can tell you that you can use both. Either a pair of scissors or a special cutter. The latter is quicker (but more expensive tho)

My experience so far has been only with the save the dates which were in the form of an airplane ticket and I used Microsoft word.
