  1. I finally had the chance to add my name to the list -now that it's 8 days away!
  2. Hi Andrea28, As far as I understand it, the package price is the price- no adjustments or substitutions! So, get as many people to go as you can and just know that one photographer might get a shot that the other couldn't. That's what we're hoping for As far as the booking goes, I believe they credit you toward any incidentals you may have, but you'll need to confirm that because I'm not for sure.
  3. I am relieved to tell you all, that I got a call from another judge who could do it at our original time! I'm so thankful!
  4. Hi Ladies! We are coming down to the wire and having a hard time deciding what to do for our hors d'oeuvres and reception meal! Can you tell me what you ate and if you liked it? We could really use some help!!! Thanks!
  5. Turned out great! It probably feels good to have them done...I can't wait til I am
  6. It's amazing all the different stuff you can find and how creative people can get!
  7. I can't decide if I should do a fan for my guests....our wedding is in the evening, but maybe at that price, I will!
  8. I haven't heard of either of them, but I check them out! thanks
  9. I wish I would've seen this thread earlier! Good idea though, I will keep my eyes out for future steals
  10. We decided not to do one either! I'm still kind of torn because I know my grandma would love to be there, but she's too old to travel that far now. But, my FI doesn't want to do one because he says we are having our reception at our wedding! I agree...but maybe I can get some of the family together this summer for a cookout, but not call it a reception!
  11. Love the scrapbooking idea! Is it faster than real scrapbooking?!
  12. I wish I could help, but I've never heard of it either! I'd be interested to know
  13. I've honestly never heard of people just taking the centerpieces from a wedding. I guess I would either put out little favors that say, "for you to take" or some neat poem and that may deter them from taking your centerpieces then! You could also have someone clear the centerpieces after they've been enjoyed and before everyone gets drunk
  14. I don't think there are really any rules when it comes to an AHR. Everyone does what works for them, so I say do what you want!
  15. Love the idea of surprising your guests---AWESOME!
  16. Your treat table is awesome! What a cute idea
  17. I would definitely invite everyone you invited to the DW. At the end of the day, if they attended the DW, they can choose not to attend the AHR!
  18. Good luck ladies with your AHR's, they sound fun!
  19. Those are cute! I hope the ones that the resort supplies are good, cause I'm not taking any along!
  20. Great advice, what you did sounds awesome! My FI doesn't want to do an AHR, he feels that we are having our reception at our DW, so we don't need to do it again. I was torn, but now I'm just excited to get there
  21. So, Friday I get a call from another commissioner who has 6 other weddings that day, but can squeeze us in at 7:45am! Oh my gosh, how am I supposed to get my witnesses there, who have an hour and a half drive?! But what choice do I have? I'll take it!
  22. I wish I would've found this sooner! When I did my initial research, it seemed way more complicated and expensive...but maybe it does cost more in my state! Oh well, too late now
