I think you are too concerned about the appearance of being a bridezilla. It was your wedding day, and you have the right to do what YOU WANT on that day and I am sure no one would have thought less of you if you had screamed at her to STFU already. Especially since it appears they have made comments to you about her behavior. I know it is hard to be the bad guy and to feel like if you say something you will be the cause of whatever potentially breaks this friendship. However, that is not the case, and you need to be respected and loved by your best friend, not manipulated and ignored.

oh sweetie, I am so sorry that you are feeling any of this or that you even felt it for 1 second. I'm a big believer in the fact that everyone is entitled to their own feelings even when they are completely irrational, but I don't think that you were being irrational AT ALL! I think it's only fair that your wedding day be about you and your groom period no exceptions. There are no guidelines for friendships and it is ultimately completely up to you how you choose to handle it, but I also feel that if no effort is made on one side, it might be time to take a step back and re-evaluate what this friendship means to you. Relationships (all relationships) should be 50/50 not 99/1 which it seems like you are dealing with, and I hope that you make the decision that works best for you and that you are able to repair it or sever it if necessary. It is always easier said than done, but it wouldn't be worth it if it was easy.

Hey all! April 17, 2012 Moon Palace Cancun. It is officially one year to go for me today! Woo hoo! Boarding pass STD's went out in February, website is up and frequently updated http://www.mywedding.com/klikawedding We sent out Newsletters in March. We just mailed our Year to go post cards yesterday since tomorrow will officially be 365 days since it's leap year. Our next project is MIB invites, already have the design and wording just need to put it all together and hope to have those mailed next month when airfares start coming out and then June I think will be another newsletter dress shopping in the next 2 months

Our photog is a guest first and photog second. He's a friend so we want him to be a guest as well. It's somewhat different than the normal situation but he's still being paid for his services so I have high expectations. I hope we get our $$ worth.

How is everyone? Planning? Any new cool ideas floating around? I just mailed out my year to go postcards. Today is the date but since next year is leap year tomorrow is exactly 365 days. So excited I can't believe we are down to a year. It seems like just yesterday we got engaged and picked a date that seemed like forever away. 2 of our friends will be getting married before us so I hope they will take advantage of our wedding as a honeymoon and since the Moon Palace offers honeymoon packages for all guests married less than 1 year which I think is awesome.

I will say that it is hard, and you both have to work at it. My FSIL and her hubby broke up like 2 years before they got married due to him cheating with a stripper. Yeah the ultimate betrayal. However, they both decided that they wanted each other and realized that they were both imperfect and it wasn't just that one instance that caused the break up it was just the last straw. Looking at them now, married and about to be parents, the couple they were before they got back together and went to counselling seems like years away. I can't imagine them not together, and they make each other better when they are together. So although the people in your life may secretly be mad at you, if you both work to make the relationship better, and those people are able to see those positive changes, it will just become okay. But I think he also has to be willing to get his butt chewed for being an assface and accept his licks.

I voted for #2 b/c it's what you loved, and while I think #3 looks AMAZING on you, I think it'd be too much material for a DW.

I am so excited, my OOT bags are coming today from Oriental Trading, very excited to see how they look. We went with a canvas tote bag, I'll post pics later. I will get twelve bags and right now I only need 2 so i figure I'm probably good, because I honestly don't think I will get that many couples to go and if I do I know that I'll be able to order more. So we will have to see. I almost wish that it was closer so I'd have everything figured out and done already. I haven't even gone looking at dresses yet. It is very upsetting, but I don't think I'll like how I look in one so I keep putting it off.
