  1. Love all the attire. The bridesmaids and the grooms clothing looks awesome. I love all the colours!
  2. Your dogs are too cute! What great pictures!!! I'm trying to convince my fiancee to get one!
  3. I love all the stuff you did with vistaprint. Everything looks amazing! Congrats!
  4. Wow your guests are going to love those bags, they look great! Some really good ideas, I might have to use for mine!
  5. I haven't been to any weddings in Costa Rica, but I have travelled the country so I can't really help you with that. For my wedding in January I'm using Costa Rica Paradise weddings. My planner has been great to work with so far and was very helpful in suggesting locations and helping pick a whole new site when the first fell through. Oh and her price was great. Good luck with your planning!
  6. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this dilemma. I just starting my wedding dress shopping and I"m having a hard time finding dresses that will be suitable for summer in Costa Rica. The dresses are very nice but the fabric's are very heavy. I know I should stick with certain fabrics. We don't plan on having our ceremony until late afternoon but it will still be very hot and very humid. When I'm shopping for my dress should I just go with a dress I love and melt on the day of OR should I stick with lighter fabrics?
  7. Wow, all your DIY stuff looks great. I'm going to bookmark cheaptotes for my OOT bags.
  8. I don't think its rude to ask at all. We are paying for the wedding ourselves. I got my FI to ask his parents when we were early on in the planning stages. They helped us out when we bought our house together so we weren't sure if they were going to contribute anything for our wedding. My FI just straight out asked them, he told them we were planning our budget and asked if they were thinking about contributing anything or paying for anything as a gift. They told us that they weren't planning on contributing anything at that time. My FMIL has changed her mind very recently and told us she will pay for a traditional Chinese reception for when we get back (my FI is part Chinese) so we don't offend that part of the family who's not invited to Costa Rica or she will give us the amount of money that would have gone to the reception to put towards the wedding (and have those people not invited will never speak to us again!) We were surprised that she came up with this, now at least we know where we stand when it comes to budgeting. It can't hurt to ask, your FI parents. You might be pleasantly surprised!
  9. Everything looks so great, you have a lot of details that will look amazing! Congrats!
  10. I'll be getting married on the 21 January in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. I'm looking for dresses right now too! There are so many beautiful ones but a lot of them seem really heavy for the hot weather.
