I can just wash my hair and go! just let it air dry or dry with a blow dryer, and it looks so pretty!!! I am not an expert with these braids but let me know if anyone has any questions. Getting married on Tuesday-wish me luck!!! Woooo Hoooo, it's alost your day! Thanks for taking the time to give us a heads up - I know you've got to be super busy! I can't wait to see pics. 6. What a great idea! I suggest that you get a digital scrapbooking program. There are tons of ready made sheets that you can print that has room for a photo and journaling/text.

  11. I'm from the South and it's tradition here too. Money is pinned on the Bride or Groom for a dance. I remember my cousin have $100 bills all over her gown and veil. (I'm sure that it enhanced their honeymoon.) The dancing has never been raunchy, although comical sometimes. I think we will pass for a DW. The guests have already spent significantly more that if we were married locally. We're not even expecting gifts.
  12. I too have read horror stories on here about shipping things. They discussed what you would expect: things getting there late or not at all. One bride even lost her wedding gown by shipping it ahead. You also don't want to run the risk of having to pay an import tax, since you have multiples of the same item, you could get hassled about being a merchant. Our resort won't even accept shipments anymore. It turns out to be a blessing for me because shipping was my first and only thought. I didn't consider the bad stuff that could happen. Most brides recommend paying the extra baggage fees on the airlines; packing the items in suitcases or large plastic bins; and splitting the packed stuff among relatives that are flying in. Good Luck!
  13. Welcome stephp! We chose Cancun for the exact same reason. What resorts are you visiting?
  14. Dianep, I'm SOOOO excited for you! If you get any pics of the pedi, please post them. Congrats, Girl!
  15. AIRFARE SALE I received an email from TravelZoo this morning announcing an airfare sale. Here is the introduction (cut and pasted): ATLANTA--MAY 11, 2010-- For three days, airfare from Atlanta has dropped to $49-$99 each way for travel through August. This saves up to $150 off regular prices on nationwide and Mexico routes. Travel is valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Click the links below to easily see fares using Fly.com's Low Fare Calendars. Most of the flights on these three weekdays are $296-306 roundtrip for travel between May and August 2010. I don't know when the sale ends but here is the link for travel between Atlanta and Cancun: Roundtrip fares to Cancun (CUN) from Atlanta (ATL) I hope that this helps to get those wavering guests to commit to your summer nuptials! Travel Zoo listed other cities as well. So you may want to check out their website as well.
