  1. The material feels nice and it is not so thin that you can see through them. I love them. I have 9 for sale 6 red and 3 brown at $2.25 each. They were not used, the people didn't make it to the wedding due to weather. Let me know if you want to purchase them . No problem, I wanted to let people know about the great deals in the area!
  2. I was going to say Riu also. Dreams was fantastic and perfect!!!! but yes a bit pricey. Good luck with your search.
  3. I agree with the other posters, there is something fishy with that purchase if it appraised for less than what he paid. I hope that you are able to get some satisfaction from that jeweler. Also, I would NOT rely on an appraisal from the same place that you purchase the ring or other piece of jewelery. In my opinion unless the diamond came from Tiffany's I wouldn't trust the appraisal from the same store. They could write the appraisal for whatever they want..if you go to an independent appraiser the value might be more accurate because they don't have a vested interest in the jewelery. Good luck..and don't slap that jeweler please
  4. I got married over president weekend as well. It was a BUSY travel weekend being that Valentine's Day fell on the same weekend. Other wise I think it is great being that there is an extra vacation day built in. Good luck with your planning

  8. This topic has and will continue to enrage women around the world. I wouldn't necessarily get bothered by him going with his friends for his "night out on the town" I would mind him traveling out of town to do it. I have been in Vegas and Amsterdam many times to see bachelors going waaaay to far. If he is staying local and going out with his friends, I would say don't stress him out! If he is going out of town for these "adventures" I would sit down with him and have an honest conversation and let him know your feelings and that you expect him to respect those feelings. Sad to say though when alcohol and "friends" are involved those conversations may go out the window. So then I say entrust your feelings in one of his close friends and bribe him to give you juicy details when the trip is over Try not to stress he is buying the cow..no more freebies. The only way not to cry in those types of situations is to laugh a little.
  9. If you get a CD with more pics then I think it is a good deal. How long will they shoot... Kinda vague.. hard to tell if it was a good deal or not.
  10. WOW! I never even considered shipping anything for this very reason. I hope that everything turned out ok in the end.
  11. How great that is.. all planning for the same day. Congrats and welcome to the forum.
  12. I LOVE that bouquet... it will look great in your pro pics. Nice job! I am ALL about saving a buck when I can!

Oh and finally there was one fan that was smaller than the rest ABSOLUTLY perfect for our flower girl chloe whos six and was happy to be getting one when i showed her what they were on line. Girls this was a super quick stress free honest transaction xxxxx Shop away xxxx Thanks I always try to treat people the way I like to be treated!! I think I used 3/8' or 5/8' I am so sorry I don't have any rolls left to get the exact one. I used about a roll of each color (had some left over from the color that was tied into a bow.) The rolls came in 5 yards rolls I believe. One roll will definitely be enough for the amount of fans you have. I used glue dots to keep the ends tightly in place and slowly wrapped the ribbon, overlapping by just a little until the handle was all the way wrapped. I am horrible at giving direction so my husband says so sorry in advance lol, but I hope this helps you somewhat.

Her advice was dead on! Sweating the small stuff sucks lol. Thank you for your congrats and well wishes. I have made several friends on this thread and we don't show any signs of slowing down just because the planning is done. I will continue to stalk these women We are all married, but also ready to cheer each other on through the next happy phases of our lives. We will definitely stick around to support other brides. I can't wait to see our video and professional pics. I want to relive the magical day and shed a few happy tears. I got the man!!!
  19. I would just scoop some and have it in the bottom of the vase before you hand it over to the WC to set up for the ceremony. Don't worry we won't spill the beans!

Of the pictures I have seen so far you all were soooo beautiful! I don't really have any yet but I'll try to attach one to my signature. It was a great two weeks and such an awesome wedding. I can't wait to see my professional photos... I am so excited! but a little reluctant too because it's the last aspect of my wedding before everything is officially over. I was listening to our reception music on the plane and had a little cry, lol I have been finding it tough since the 18th... a year of planning with such a quick ending! but definitely an awesome one. I'll make a review tomorrow and post the link. I think it will be easier to get on with my new life now that I can't walk past the beach where I got married every day and choke up, haha *I am such a loser... (Oh and I like the idea of whoever gets preggers first starts the thread... I think we got off to a good start last week haha TMI!!) YAY!! Welcome back Mrs.!! So happy that your day was so perfect!! LOL..that wasn't too much info. Susie is all ready to knit you some baby booties and Shells is ready to babysit OUR niece or nephew Congrats!!!!
