  1. Reverend Marco will contact you via email to introduce himself. When he does ask if you can see the scripts that he has for you to choose from for legal and symbolic ceremonies. If it is a legal ceremony, if I am not mistaken..you have to have elements that can not be changed for it to be legal. That is probably why the WC said she will handle it, there is not much you can add/change. My ceremony was not legal as we got married in Vegas around his birthday (Christmas) so I was able to chose and add to the script.
  2. I agree with the other ladies, but I am such a picture whore soooooo can I see a pic of the dress in question pahlease
  3. I firmly agree with most of the posts here! Please do what you feel is best for YOU! You already made it clear the type of wedding that you want so go forward with those plans. I don't know why your family member can't leave the country, please don't take this the wrong way, but that is not your problem. THis is your day and one that if your are blessed enough, will remember for the rest of your life. Don't try to please everyone around you because that is a feat that will NOT be accomplished. Plan the DW of your dreams!! Invite those family members that you want to be with you and for those that can't or won't attend plan an at home gathering for everyone. If cost is a problem. Plan a nice get together when the weather permits in a park or some other beautiful open/public/cheap space! Good luck with your decision!! I really hope you stick to your guns and plan the wedding where YOU and your FI really want it.
  4. Oh my goodness!! I am so sorry that this happened to you guys. Thank you for being thoughtful of other brides and posting your frustrations. I hope that you are able to come to some solution. Shame on her, as they say "karma is a _____" wow!
  5. Wow, good for you, I am sure your day will be AMAZING! COngrats on finally getting to Mexico!
  6. How in the world did I forget to add my AMAZING officiant Reverend Marco Arechiga to this review?!? Reverend Arechiga was FABULOUS!! He had the most special ceremonies for us to choose from. We chose a non denominational script and added a few special elements to it. He made people laugh and cry on a few instances. His voice was very soothing and he made my heart happy. If you have the option to choose your officiant, I would definitely request Reverend Arechiga!! He did substitute Chris with Christopher lol, but other than that it was perfect!!
  7. I was in Mexico, so I didn't get to get on here and wish you well. I am soooo happy that your day was so beautiful.. they say if your wedding dress gets wet its good luck, so you were showered with good luck when the rain fell. COngrats on being a Mrs.!!!

  13. Hi ladies.. I don't know if they have a website.. I would probably call them to see what they can do for our Canadian friends. I didn't get my pashminas from here, but the store where I got them is on 27th street just one block away. Its called Pioneer group 27. No problem...glad that I could help. I know how to keep to a budget and I just wanted to help others do the same
  14. The father did a split better than some cheerleaders i know...too funny
  15. Susie!! I can ALWAYS count you you for a belly rolling laugh! Thanks for not disappointing!
  16. LOL I remember this feeling. What makes me wish I reeled myself in was the fact that ALL of our bags were over weight and we almost didn't make the flight because of the fact that I was obsessed with my "stuff" I wouldn't agree to throw anything away. There are heavy airline restrictions for weight these days. So I say PLEASE check your airline restrictions and follow them because there are some EVIL gate agents that don't care if the Queen of England was getting married..they will veto your bags lol.

Anyway...thanks for the tip...I love those pashminas...especially for the price. I also saw keychains too...but I had already purchased on a site visit last month. I will go look around some more though. Stop making me blush..thanks a bunch! I was just telling Damaris that since my wedding is over I will have to start stalking future brides so that I don't loose the feeling of anticipation over the "big day" now I can live through you guys. Hope planning is coming along great.. your day will be here before you know it!
  18. I got married and Dreams Cabo on Valentine's day and it was absolutely perfect. Congrats fellow brides.. happy planning!
