  1. I got the lanterns at a wholesale store here in NY called Real Evergreen International Inc. They are 20" ivory lanterns they come in dozens and are sold for $27 each their number is 212-889-3111 24 west 28th street near broadway in Manhattan. I am sure they will do a phone order if you pay shipping of course. They also have those mesh bags that were in my planning thread $3.00 for 12 for the small size and $4.00 for the larger size ( I used the large ones for the hangover kit and the small ones for my candles for Vday gifts) If I can help in any other way, let me know chicas.. happy planning

Congrats to the rest of you.....i know exactly how you feel.....can't stop smiling! I will try and post a pic, so hopefully it works. Thanks again for all of the help and support ladies.....you helped to make this chapter of my life even more enjoyable. You both looked amazing. Welcome to the world of blissfully married. Not to mention, YOU looking at your own images. I can simply open my photo book and I feel like I'm right back at my wedding. And it all happens so fast that I'm so very thankful that I spent the money for a good photographer. And can your guests take as good of pictures as a photographer... HIGHLY unlikely. You might by chance have a photographer for a friend, in which case, that'd be very generous of them to take your photos. But otherwise, no. there is a HUGE difference, if you ask me. As for paying $1200 for a resort photographer who is giving you 40 hard copy photos... well, it's better than nothing. I will say that. However, perhaps it'd be better to hire someone outside of your resort? It broke my heart too!!! I could not even imagine getting married and NOT having professional pics taken! I hope that you are able to cut back in other areas if budget is an issue. Maybe you can save on invites by doing them yourself or save the dates by doing the same. In any case you would really regret not having professional pics done. You know auntie betsy will have her finger over the flash during half of the pics.. good luck with your decision
  8. The pics are great. Love that dress girlfriend!! COngrats on being a Mrs.

I love that your bouquet/shoes/centerpieces are such a vibrant red - it was beautiful! And your dress is amazing! Congrats! Awww, Thanks Krista!!! You are so sweet. I really hope to crash, I mean see you at your reception. How cool would that be!?! Your family would be like..."Ummmm where did all these ladies come from LMAO"
  12. Beautiful "something blue" but yikes.. I would rather spend that much on a pair of shoes! Coming from a shoe whore.. sorry, that's MY issue.. back to your earrings. I love them, but as Carly suggested, maybe you can get them "knocked off" for a fraction of the price.

SeptemberBride - the wedding is tentatively booked for Dec. 6, 2010. Thanks for your help! Because of my time constraints, we didn't have a rehearsal. The WC was onsite the day of the wedding and directed everyone and it was all fine. Good luck.

  18. We loved Dreams Cabo so much that we want to visit all of the Dreams resorts so that we can compare lol. We are looking to go to the one in DR very soon, without the kid! Since we had such an awful travel experience, we are looking forward to getting away. So yes to separate honeymoons..a few of them!

  24. We gave our rings to our BM and Maid of honor. Funny thing is I kept saying in my head put your ering on your right ring finger.. but so much going on I still had my ering on my finger when he tried to put the band on so I quickly slipped it off and acted like nothing happened lol. I would say put it on the right finger at some point in the day preferably before your FI tries to put your band on
