Hi Katrina. Congrats on your engagement! I was in the same confused spot as you when we got engaged. But a wonderful person I know refered me to this forum. It is so Great. Your will find so many ideas you wont know what to do with them all. lol! I had a cousin get married in the Dominican. It was very nice. Two co-workers of mine got married in the Mexico. And they had wonderful and magical times there. And they were both reasonable prices. I am getting married in the bahamas. So there is lots of choices out there, you just have to figure out where you invision your wedding and where you would rather go. Good luck on this journey. Enjoy it all.

I agree with everyone else. I think they will just get put aside if they are in the OOT bags. And they will look so cute put out on the tables at your reception.

Hi, I am getting married in the bahamas in november of this year. When I started looking for AI Resort, the only ones were: - Breezes: My travel agent told me this is a party resort. it is 14yrs and up, and all the reviews say the same thing, plus the decor is out dated - Riu Paradise Island: all ages welcome, just had a full reno in october 2009. saw pictures and it is beautiful. very quiet. so we booked with the Riu (which is now a 5 star) for a great price ($1600/person for a week). And it is right beside Atlantis so you can go check that out whenever with out paying the hefty price of staying there. - the Sandals resort opening soon at this point. but if you want to save money for your guests, the Sandals resort is not the way to go. It is super expensive, like $4000/person a week. ouch!. But you never know what your travel agent can find out and get for you. I hope that has helped. Good luck!

haha! Hi guys, my name is Amanda and I am addicted to BDW as well. Ever since a co-worker of mine told me about it in Nov /09 I am on this site as much as i possibly can. I wake up, I check it, I come home for lunch, I check it. As soon as I come home from work, I check it, and then again, right before I go to bed. My FI said that he feels like i love this sight more than him. LOL, But like some of the other girls I do have my facebook open at the same time as well. I dont know what I would do without this sight. Such wonderful people and ideas. Cannot live without it.

Yes!!!! I am having this problem too. I am getting married in November, and people have already said that my price is way to much but we booked at a 5 star Riu resort in Bahamas, and got a 3 day price for a week ($1600.00) I was so excited til now when so many people are telling me that we are crazy, that is way to much and they are going to book last min as well. I even have a cousin who was married at a Riu and knows the whole drill and they are booking last min. So What I have been trying to do is stay calm..... I know that if they dont book with us they will get rooms that are not the same quality and in another part of the resort..... but I just have to get my self to deal. At least i know there are girls out there dealing with the same thing. and that is so comforting. Thanks for posting this.

I ordered Maggies Athena. I was wanting a dress so I could feel like a greek goddess, and one of my bridesmaids found Athena. i just looked at the tag and said no way, it was out of my price range, but my mother said to go ahead, and put it on. If it was the one she would pay the difference. and I fell in love! Hard! lol. there were tears and everything. Such a beautiful dress. It was ordered Feb 6th 2010 and it comes in this june. I start my fittings in sept. seems to far away. Cannont wait to get her back again. Congrats on everyone elses dresses. they all seem so wonderful, and those with pictures they are all so pretty. Yes, if you just log into your account the prices will be normal. But if you click on the email it will bring you to where all the discounts are. Though you cannot get everything that is free for free at once. they put a limit on it. Good luck! They have excellent products, I have ordered many, many things from there.
