  1. I love the saying for your welcome tag! Might have to borrow that! Everything looks great! Congrats! 2. I can't remember where I found the image, but shoot me an email and I can send them to you if you'd like. sfrench0621 at gmail.com Quote: Originally Posted by tdotey Where did you get the image for your magnet? 3. Just saw one posted by a bride on another board for sale-- http://angelabo.synthasite.com/for-sale
  4. I had checked about matches and TSA bans them for both carry-on and checked baggage. Fireworks like look a no-go too. 5. I was at our Michaels the other day and they had 2 different palm tree punches in stock. Wasn't able to find any at JoAnn Fabrics though. Good luck!
  6. Yep- sent the postcard and magnet in one envelope. I was suprised it only cost the normal $.44 in postage for each envelope. Designed them both in Powerpoint and then bought them through Vistaprint. Ended up costing about $60 for 125 magnets, postcards, envelopes and return address labels. It's neat seeing the magnets up on other people's fridge. I chose mywedding.com for our website because it was free and really easy to use. Has worked out well so far! 7. I had heard it was in English as well... hmm Quote: Originally Posted by laura4ever I emailed Claudia and she told me the ceremony was in english.............?
  8. It took me about 2 weeks before I heard back from my WC that my date was confirmed. That was the longest it has taken for me to hear back from Claudia. Usually it's 1-2 days for me to get a response from her. Quote: Originally Posted by barcelobride10 Hi ladies, I am getting married at the Barcelo on May 27th, 2010. I was just wondering what everyone elses experiences were with 'holding' vs. 'confirming' your wedding date. Did you receive some sort of official confirmation email? Thank you so much for the help!
  9. I've read on Unofficial Barcelo Maya that they substitute shrimp for the lobster during the months when they aren't allowed to serve lobster. 10. Thanks for sending the menu Sandra! Glad to see all the options I wanted are still available
  11. So glad I ran into this thread... I bought the same cards for Michaels and want to make labels for them. Thanks for posting the template
  12. Hello and welcome... I ran into the same problem in the beginning. I narrowed it down to Aruba or Mexico, but ultimately chose Mexico because it was $500+ cheaper for our guests. Couldn't justify the extra cost. Good luck with the decision. This forum will be really helpful!
  13. Hello and welcome! Congrats on the engagement. You'll find this forum so helpful with planning!
  14. Never heard of this superstition, but wouldn't really care if someone else tried my ring on.
  15. I don't think it's a problem having an uneven number. I am having 2 MOHs and 2 bridesmaids and he is having 1 BM and 2 groomsmen. I think the 2 MOHs will walk down with the BM.
  16. Great job Sandra! I like the idea of having 1 response card for DW and AHR. I am thinking of doing the same thing!
  17. Thanks! I've been hoping my dollar tree will get them back in stock. May wait a couple months to see and if not then I'll just go with Discount Mugs. Thanks for posting the link to that! 18. I really like your monogram- the blue writing is a little hard to read- maybe you could make it bigger or change the color of the text? Nice job! 19. Great to know that Delta has the same policy! Now I don't need to worry about paying extra bag charges for all my OOT bag stuff!
  20. Love these... anyone know where you can buy the mugs in the US?
  21. Thanks for posting! Seems like a great idea! Quote: Originally Posted by jenv hi ladies was just playing on the net and came across this site Luggage Tag Design Studio . you can personalize/ design them which i thought was great. hope this can help anyone who is looking for them. jen
  22. Can't wait to see how they turn out! I'm debating whether or not I'll do the real touch bouquets for my bridesmaids or just pay for the real ones from the Palace.
  23. Congrats and welcome! I honestly don't think you'll have a problem finding a resort for under $300 a night, especially with fall being low season. Good luck, you've definitely come to the right place
  24. I definitely want to get these for my OOT bags... even at an AI resort, I still plan on bringing cash to tip, and don't trust leaving anything like cash or room keys in a beach bag.
