  1. Ladies, I need some opinions on this please. A male co-worker just recently got engaged. He is friendly with a number of us women in the office and we all eat lunch together. Today, he had his FI engagement ring because he was taking it to get sized. Some of the women not only looked at it but tried it on! Isn't it bad luck to try on another woman's engagement ring? How would you feel if your FI let another woman try on your ring?
  2. I created a website through The Knot and sent it to people who I plan to send formal invites. The wesbite of course includes info about us, cute stories about how we met, the wedding date, the resort, our travel agent, etc. I was wondering is it bad taste to send the website to people that I have no intention of inviting?

I'm very straight and i'm not sure this dress gives me enough curves. But, what can you do! (besides cxl, lose my deposit, and start over!). The information about clevage helps. If you want that look then go for the sweetheart and a Very Sexy bra from Victoria Secret If you go sweetheart I think you'll have to loose the flower.
  4. THey give you suggestions?!?!?! That's good because I'm not sure if I would know what to choose. My FI and have been together forever also and have all of the typical wedding gifts. But new sheets, towels, and cookware would work for me
  5. Thanks ladies, this helps! I can't wait to get my hands on that scan gun LOL
  6. I'm voting for #3 but I think you should keep looking. I went to shop and spent 4 hours trying on dresses just to get an idea of what I liked and I narrowed it down to 2. Both took my breath away as I stood in front of the mirror ans you should feel the same way too. Now I just have to go back with my mom and the rest of the crew to make the final decision!
  7. My mother's friend said she would not be able to join us in Jamaica but wants my mom to tell her when I've posted my registry. Is there proper etiquette for when to post your registry? How many months in advance should it be posted?
  8. Thanks for posting this. I wanted to incorporate my grandparent's wedding photo into my special day. This frame is a great way to keep them close to me.
  9. That's terrible! BUt I agree with everyone, you have do what you want. It's your day and you don't want to look back on your wedding day and always wonder how great it would have been to have your day in Mexico. This is your special day for you and your hubby to be as long as the two of you are happy with Mexico, that's all that matters! Good luck
  10. Welcome Marne! My fiance and I are living in the Bronx and we are planning a wedding in Ocho Rios!
  11. OMG, I love it all. The colors, the website, the invitations, everything is amazing CONGRATS!
  12. Hi!! I am getting married at the RIU Ocho Rios. Where/how did you find your photographer? Does the resort have an onsite photographer?
  13. Thanks for the question TCIbride and the response future_mrs2010. I am at the beginning stages of planning and I wasn't sure if anything besides the wedding/reception was required (good form). This make me feel better... I love this forum!!!
