We leave Monday and I was scheduled to get my period on Tuesday! That means aunt flo for my wedding day. What are the odds? I have been off the pill for 6 months, but I started it up again about a month ago so I would not get my period. I don't have any side effects but plan on stop taking it when we get back. Perhaps the stress of everything will bring it on early for you and you will be ok on your wedding day!

I had the britesmile done and I was not all that impressed!! I guess the natural color of your teeth determine how much they will brighten up. My teeth are more of the gray tone, so they lightened up 7 shades. At least they warn you during your consultation! It's a quick fix that lasts a short amount of time. I think I paid $200.

In regards to the tips, I leave on Monday for my wedding at Beach Palace. I sent our wedding cord an email asking her who to tip and how much. I never heard back from her in regards to that. I really need some advice on who to tip too and how much. What's the standard thing to do for the wedding cord?

Hello- We leave next week for our wedding at Beach Palace. I am trying to figure out who I should tip and how much. For those of you that have been married at a Palace Resort, can you please give me some advice? Here's who I think is going to want a tip Wedding Planner Justice of the Peace Musicians to play during ceremony Drink Servers during during cocktail reception DJ for cocktail reception Spa services- mani/pedi/hair and makeup Have I forgot anyone? I ran a search through some of the fourms, but I thought that I would ask the Palace Brides. Any thoughts/info would be great! Thank you, Laura

Hello! I am getting married at Beach Palace, and I have only talked to one other bride that is getting married there. Don't let that influence your decision. Check out tripadvisor.com and see what other people have had to say about the resort. Just an FYI, the wedding cords are very slow at getting back to future brides. Once you are about a month away, you will have no problem getting in contact with her. Since we are also staying at a Palace resort, we have the option of spending the day at that resort too. We are going to check it out. Good luck with your planning!

Hi Beth- We leave on the 20th, so I am not packed!!! I got some great news yestereday. The party that was on the sky terrace cancelled, so we now have the sky terrace for our private reception. I was excited about that. I did not ship anything down. I am flying to Mexico with 3 other people, so we each can take two 50lb bags. We are going to put a lof of the stuff in duffle type bags! I went WAY overboard with the out of town bag and they are going to need their own suitcase! (I only have 12 people coming) Palace changed their wedding packages, I kept the same package but they raised the price of my violin/cello! I tried to argue it, but no luck! It's like an extra $175 now. I have made all my spa appointments for my guests and myself. The hotel has a small wedding room where the appointments take place and then you can get ready in that room too. Valeria emails me on a daily basis and she responds within 10 mins! Big change from the beginning. They really do focus on the brides that are getting married that month!!! How much is the ice sculpture? I say, if you really want it.. go for it. This is your day and you should have what you have "dreamed about"! Matt & I thought about cancelling the live music because it's like $700 but at the end of the day, I really wanted the live music so we are going for it. Whats another $700 at this point?? I am not nervous but very excited! I pick up my wedding ring on Saturday.. nothing like waiting till the last minute. Are you doing a meet the guests flyer? If so, I have a great template. Let me know.

I bought my FI's ring from Oromi Inc. They are located on the East Coast and claim to have the largest online selection of wedding rings. We bought a 18k white gold benchmark wedding band for a fraction of the price that we found for the exact same ring in the stores! They shipped fast too.

I bought mine for $10 from Davids Bridal. You may want to check there or on ebay for a bag. Good luck

Just wanted to say Hello! We are leaving in three weeks. We are getting so excited!

We paid $1100 for the 4 hour private sunsetcruise. It's a 46 foot boat. I'm not sure how many people it holds. They are also providing transportation to/from the hotel. The boat includes snacks, snorkel equip, and open bar. There is a 4 hour minimum on the private rental with cancun catamarans. Compared to the other prices that I got this looked like a good price. This was also one of the only companies that spoke english. This company charges by the size of the boat not the amount of passengers.

beebumble- I hope you are doing well! My wedding is quickly approaching. We pretty much have everything taken care of. We decided to go with the violin &violincello for live music during the ceremony. Since we have 14 people, we are not able to do a sitdown dinner. We are having a semiprivate dinner in one of the buffet resturants. They offered a plated dinner but we decided against it. Our wedding is at 6 and our rcocktail reception will go from 8-10p on the infinity terrrace. The infinity terrace is on the second floor between the infinity pool and the ocean. It's a private area. Depending on the amount of guests, it's possible to eat on that terrace too. If you want to see photos, let me know. We are going with the DJ for two hours. I have gotten a copy of the vows and we are still debating if we are going to do the sand ceremony. How are your plans coming? How many people are attending your wedding? Are you working with Valeria too? I am not stressing out and am looking forward to the trip! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Girls.... You should check out ebay for DD swim suits. I am a 36DD and I found that the brand COCO Reef is cup sized. Also check out sunset seperates and 2bamboo. You can also find some VS suits on ebay. These are probably last seasons styles but you can't beat the price! I've already bought two for the wedding from ebay. If you like the COCO reef brand, Marshalls and TJ Max also cary some D and DD sizes.

I have a three year old boxer who has seperation anxiety issues similar to yours! She has eaten shoes, remote controls, magazines and books. She was in a crate till she was 1. From 1-2, she had the run of the kitchen with the baby gate. I thought that her issues would get better if she could look out the window, so she now has the run of the lower level. She's 70lbs so she needs a lot of exercise! It sounds like your dog is getting two walks a day, but I wonder if that's enough. My dog becomes destructive when she does not get enough exercise. I now take her to doggy day care twice a week. We usually go to the dog park but if it's too wet, she has a 30 min walk. I've read the books and searched the internet too for solutions!! I don't want to resort to the medications to calm the dog down. I would suggest trying longer walks or trying to tire her out with a ball. I know that it's expensive, but the doggy day care has been a lifesaver to me! (we both work long hours too) Good luck!

Hello- My onsite wedding cord told me that the outside private functions have to be over by 10pm. We are getting married at 6 (sunset wedding) and having our reception start at 8pm with the DJ. If you decide to book at Beach Palace, make sure to reserve the Sky Terrace for your reception. By the time I got around to talking to a wedding cord, the Sky Terrace was already booked. I am having my reception on the Infinity terrace. Just an FYI, it's really hard to get info from Palace Resorts untill just before the wedding. My wedding is two months away and I am just now making arrangments. If you decide on Beach Palace, I will forward you the info that I have. I'm getting married at Beach Palace but staying at Cancun Palace. I have not been to either hotel, but both have gotten great reviews! From the photos that I have seen, there is a small amount of beach in front of the hotel. Because of the hurricanes in the past, most of the hotels do not have beaches anymore. I've heard that Sun Palace has the best beach of the Palace resorts. We bought our week at Cancun Palace on Ebay from a Palace Member. It saved us and our guests a lot of money! You can google "obtaining an apostille in Pennsylvania" for info. In Il, I had to send the secretary of state my certified copy of my birth certificate along with $2 and they sent my certified b/c back to me with an apostille letter. It took about two weeks. Hope this helps.

I found mine at Office Depot, which was going out of business for $0.50. Not sure if you live near a store that's going out of business. If so, check it out.
