Good evening ladies- Just wanted to say Hello. Got an email today from my FL wedding cord. She said that my onsite w/c will contact me approx 3 months prior to the wedding to answer my questions. Nice.. Next week will be 3 months, so I may just call back 3 months to the date to ask my questions. I am not going to stess about it. I know that everything will work out in the end. My next mission is to find Matt a suit to wear to the wedding. I suggested a silk or linen. We are looking online now, because we are not going to find either of those in Chicago now. I'm glad that you guys have been able to answer some of my questions! Laura

Good evening! I ordered my invitations today, so I can check that off the list. Since I am not crafty, I decided to order them. What are your men wearing during the wedding? We are thinking about a linen suit, but it's the wrong time of year now to look for that. Does anyone know if Palace resorts rents suits? I sent my FL w/c an email to ask her. Also, is the wedding terrace on the sky terrace? I know that there is a pool and a bar on the roof top, but I am not sure where the wedding terrace and sky terrace are located in comparison to that. This means an orginal birth certficate. The orginal b/c's should have a raised seal on it, indicating that it's official from the state which you were born. I don't think that the hotel will accept a photo copy.

Hello Ladies- I am a Palace Bride to be, but at Beach Palace. There are only a few Beach Palace brides, so I usually bounce around to the other Palace threads. Our wedding is April 23, 2009, and I still don't have my onsite wedding cord! I am being patient with a long list of questions. We are only having about 15 guests, so I am still on the fence about the DJ. Anyway, Just wanted to say Hello to everyone. Are any of you thinking about doing a trash the dress session?

I am online now trying to find "the one" invitation! I only need 10 invites, so i'm having a hard time finding a company that will sell them individually. I have a few sites, so I am going to pick one by the end of the day! With such a small group, I am debating what to do after the wedding ceremony. I read on these posts that Palace resorts does not allow any outdoor wedding activity to go past 10p. I guess it depends on what time they slot us for dinner. Do we know if they allow us to reserve the terrace for our reception? If so, I would like to rent that for 2 hours. I probably don't need the reception with such a small group, but I want to do the first dance, father daughter dance, etc. I guess i will add these questions to my list to ask when I finally hear from someone.

Hello. I am getting married at Beach Palace in April. There are three of us on this site getting married there, so I thought that I would visit your site the resorts are part of the same chain. So far, I have only reserved the wedding date & time. We are expecting about 15 people, so it will be small. Hello.. I am still trying to figure out my invitations. I've look at so many invitations and nothing has jumped out at me. I do like the idea of the boarding pass, so I may consider that and be done with it. Are you making your own invites or using a company? Lindsey- When did you get the new price info? We were planning on using the Ipod for music, but decided this weekend that we want the DJ. I don't want to ask anyone to handle the ipod. We are still debating between 2 & 4 hours. With a small group, two hours will probably be enough. Have either of you reserved the sky terrace for the reception? Is dinner served outside or inside one of the resturants?

Good morning! I am so jealous that the two of you have SO much more information that I do! The only thing that I have done at this point is reserve and pay for the wedding deposit. I talked to Claudia earlier this week and she told me that she is not my onsite wedding cord. About three months prior to the wedding, I will be assigned a onsite wedding cord that will help me with the live music, reception extras, etc... Perhaps this is because I am having 12-20 people at my wedding. I sent a list of questions to Claudia and she responded by saying that she will forward my information to the onsite wedding cord. I am about three months away from the wedding, so I hope to get a call soon. I may call Valeria and see if she can help me. Is she located in Mexico or Miami? I just started to think about my OOT bags. I made a list of items that I am going to get. I just need to go out and get them. Thanks for the Target suggestion. After looking your emails, I think that I want fireworks now too! I was planning on bringing the IPOD, but I don't want to ask a guest of mine to handle it all night. Apostille Question...... I obtained a copy of my certified birth certificate from the state and sent it in to obtain the apostille. When I look at my birth certificate, I see that it does not include my parents information. From what I have read, it appears that I can obtain a "Full" birth certificate that would include my parents information. The birth number would be the same on each report, but I am wondering if Palace Resorts requires a "Full" birth certificate with the parents infromation. I sent a scan of my reports to my wc, but have not heard back from her! Does anyone know if I need the "Full" copy with an apostille? I want to make sure that we have no problems with the documents when we arrive in Mexico. Does anyone know how much it's going to cost to have the documents translated at the resort?

Hello- It looks like it's been a while since anyone posted here. Thought that I would try to get it started again. We are planning a three night stay at El Dorado Maroma after our week in Cancun. We debated between El Dorado and Secrets! We ended up booking the swim up suite, so I hope I am not disappointed. I would love to hear from someone that has stayed at the resort.

Hello- I am getting married at Beach Palace, Cancun and have obtained some info from other Beach Palace brides. Since Moon Palace is part of the chain for Beach Palace, I thought I would ask some Moon Palace brides for info. I have the information from the website, but am looking for prices for extra things that may be included in the reception. For example, cost of DJ, renting a stereo system, etc. How much did it cost to have the documents translated into Spanish at the resort? Once you arrived at the resort, how quickly did you have your blood test/ meet with your wedding cord? The wedding is three months away and I have so many questions!!! I have sent emails to my wedding cord, but have not heard back in a week. I thought that I would ask you girls to see if you could answer some of my questions! Thanks...

Thanks for this information! I did not know that the Beach Palace only offered one wedding a day! On the website, it looks like they offer various times to get married. What time are you guys getting married? We are getting married at 6PM. Has anyone received information about who the photographer may be?

Lindsey & bumble27 Thank you for the information. I have searched the internet and have not been able to find anyone that has gotten married at Beach Palace. I have received several different photos of the wedding location from my wedding cord, but would like to talk to someone that has been married there! Are you also staying at the Beach Palace? We decided to stay at the Cancun Palace for our trip and provide transportation to the Beach Palace the day of the wedding. I did see the optional price list on the internet, but may be interested in somethings that are not listed on the internet. Do you guys know if we can bring in our own decorations for the reception? On the site visit, did they tell you that you could have your reception on the sky terrace too? We are only having about 15 people attend, so our group is going to be small. I would like a private reception, if possible. I am hoping that Claudia, my wedding cord, will respond to my email soon. We are also looking to charter a catamaran for 12-20 people for a sunset crusie. We are looking for snacks/drinks. Has anyone used Cancun Catamarans? I sent out some emails to the boat charter companies in Cancun and only heard back from two. Please let me know if anyone has any additional suggestions. Thanks
