Urrgghhhhhh , so I just got off the phone with US citizen and immigration services customer care and boy that was no help. She basically read me EVERYTHING the website said! How irritating!! So a talking website live! I emailed the wedding coordinator from our resort to see if she has had experience in the past. I just want to be able to get a legit wedding license and still be able to come into the country on the exact same visa. I guess I may have to search for an immigration lawer...arggghhhh

OMG im totally stressing right now!! Im Canadian and have been working in the US for 5 years now on a TN visa my Finance is a US citizen and we are about to get married in about 4 months! I have no intentions of becoming a US citizen and once he retires with the Navy(3 yrs) we are headed back up to Canada to settle, which then at that time I will sponsor him to become a Canadian Citizen From what I have been reading the marriage is legal in the United States as long as it is legally performed in Jamaica. If it isn't then we are screwed! He is overseas right now and once he does get back we are going to go to Navy legal to straighten things out and try and get real answers. Gawd!! It really does irritate me that stuff like this is so damn complicated and sooo sooo time consuming! I guess I need to start researching AGAIN!!

Hey there brides, Does anyone have an idea what size of magnet is appropriate? I have read threads about the AC switching off once the balcony door is open. I plan on making my own magnets for my guests but I want to make sure its not too small and doesn't do anything. Let me know if you have any info! thanks ladies!

I had actually stumbled upon this as well and LOVED the idea but not so much the price...Pretty sad to hear about customer service...

This is my dilemma as well! I want to take advantage of the semi private dinner that we will be paying for with the wedding package that we have chosen but I also wanted to have a poolside 'something'. I think that $15 pp is a bit more reasonable then the $55 dinner/reception option. The only thing that im a little worried about is breaking up the evening and having to move everyone to poolside.

Hello ladies! Just wanted to post and share my invites and the wedding inserts my TA had made for us. We ordered our invites from Destinations by Dawn. They are simple but a little different due to the paper they print it on. Its kind of a see through sheer paper...kinda neat..I could kick myself in the ass though cuz I chose not to but the lined envelopes!
