  3. You can email him. He has actually been pretty good with us. Gets back to you pretty quickly. We had been emailing for a while then when he had the new prices out he gave us pretty clear directions. The website is best images There are FAQ and you can most certainly email him there as well.
  4. hey there ladies.. Im in the midst of looking for sand ceremony sets as well. I really want one that has a lid or a cork...I have several of the personalized heart ones but still unsure. I did like this idea that I had seen a few months ago that was an hourglass...That was pretty unique but a little out of our budget...Well getting back to the topic of the thread...Has anyone ever thought about possibly getting sand from the wedding location? I want to do that but I have yet to do research on actually 'coloring ' the sand...any ideas?
  5. Those look great! Im still trying to decide myself what I want to do with my flowers! Decsions....decsions....thank goodness we only have 6 months left of making them!! Congrats your day is coming up quickly!
  6. Welcome to the forum!! Happy planning and congratulations!
  7. Thanks for the review!! Congrats!!
  8. Thank you so much for sharing!! I really want to do the poolside reception but it is depending in the amount of guests that actually decide to come. Everyone has been so wishy washy!
  9. These look great!! I love that flower peice for your hair! Congrats to you! Almost the big day!
  10. Congrats! Thanks for the review! I will keep that private reception issue in mind!
  11. Yes it does seem that the prices are a little higher. I think we are going to go with the Blue Mountain package and probably just pay for an additional hour. I think that you can assign a certain amount of time to everything that is going on..i.e. 1hr for ceremony 1 hr after...since our wedding will be at 4 and reception @ 6..
  12. Not sure if the rest of you brides that have decided to go with Micheal, from photoshop jamaica, received his latest price list. I received the email tonight and am finding myself reading through it twice. Prices are definately reasonable. But will be emailing him with some of my questions ( Lord knows I have a few!) but I wanted to hear about what others think about the packages?
  13. We had the exact same problem! We booked as soon as the dates were available! I had extended twice I think? The TA we decided to go with actually didn't have prices from her wholesaler till last week for our April 2010 wedding!! I was freakin out! But she had emailed Riu on behalf of me and things worked out. We got the exact same email as Bride2be210. So now we are booked with the wedding date and time @ the Riu and we have also put our deposit down for our wedding! Its now all feeling like reality as opposed to a 'fantasy' wedding that I was making up in my head! LOL!
  14. How ironic that I stumble upon this thread! My FI have been discussing this hot topic for a while now! As a matter a fact, just a few hours ago! We are still in negotiation mode! LOL!
  15. ugghh, we were kinda going through the same thing..We have been engaged a year next month and you just want to book ASAP!! It's just so damn exciting! LOL! I have done so much research over the 11 months it's crazy! Comparing prices and trying to find knowledgable TA's that were attentive! We have actually just put our deposit down today!! I was on another thread the other day about sunquest and another one of the BDW brides posted this new promo! And it's good till Oct 15th! Check it out...ask your TA's about it! Sunquest Vacations: Vacation packages to Caribbean | Cuba | Mexico | Costa Rica | Central America
  16. Welcome welcome!! This site is amazing!! Soooo much info!! Congrats and happy planning!
  17. These are great!!! Wow!! Its always so much more rewarding if you make stuff on your own! I love them!
  18. I was a little hesitant on using a TA in the beginning. I have always just booked my own vacations online and have had no problems what so ever. I had always thought it was way cheaper online. But not with this trip! It's not a whole lot cheaper but to have a TA there to answer my endless questions is soooo worth it! I have also told my my guests that one advantage with a TA are the payment plans/deposits that TA's are able to offer to our guests. That was the big thing on our end. Another advantage is that if you find one with knowledge and experience with dealing with the resort. I wanted to have a TA that can answer my questions about the resort based on first hand experience. I had actually found mine on FB. And so far, she has been wonderful! Happy planning ladies!
