I am also planning a wedding at Riu Ocho Rios in October 2010. My understanding is that the dinner is included in the wedding price. This makes sense only because they require that 80% of your guests stay at the resort, which is all-inclusive, so the guests have already paid for their meals. Hi, my name is Linsey, and my fiancee and I are planning to get married in Jamaica at Riu Ocho Rios in October 2010. We're planning to have a reception back home in Chicago after we return. We are planning to invite about 25-30 guests to the wedding (parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and best friends) and expect to have 150 guests at the reception. I'm interested to hear from other brides who are planning ROR weddings and how it has been communicating (or not) with the ROR wedding coordinator. I'd also to like to hear from people who are facing the challenges associated with having a destination wedding followed by a reception back home for the rest of the family and friends. Two dresses or one? How to word the invitations? I'm excited for the planning!!!!!
