  1. Hello to all, I was just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom or inisight to marrying a man with 2 school age kids (6 boy & 13 girl). I have no kids of my own, but understand there could be some hurdles when dealing with blended families and kids at this age. Right now we are one big happy family, but is it too good to be true? I tend to get a pretty bias perspective from people close to me, so I would like an objective view from someone that may be directly involved or were involved in. Thanks in advance
  2. Hello Fellow Brides & Brides to Be, I couldn't do it...I know I am wrong for not compromising but it is so hard for me. I am not only and only child but my mother is also single now. I could not leave her and go enjoy myself knowing she would be alone. I just had to get this off of my chest. Needless to say, this caused a big uproar because he sent Thanksgiving with me and I did not show up for Christmas at his parents' house until 7pm. And for those wondering, it may have been simple for both my mother and I to go to his parents' house but my mother is a home-body and prefers entertaining at her house. So that was out of the question and no persuaded could be done
  3. Wow...There are so many great ideas...I love the idea of a magnet for the STD. I love that magnetstreet.com has coordinating items and many nice selections...I like the price at vista print and agiftfulheart.com has some on sale for $0.60 each. I still haven't decided on Cabo or Vegas yet. Has anyone seen magnets with a vegas theme? Also, what is the standard timr in which the STD cards should be sent?

  5. Disclaimer: I do no claim to be a medical doctor but my mother and mother-in-law both have it. They are fine and only seem to flair-ups when they eat nuts or certains foods with seeds (i.e. strawberries & raspberries). I hope I did not alarm or offend anyone. Noy trying to give medical advice but just what I understand the condition to be in general terms. For accurate and specific information anyone please contact and consult your doctor. Many blessings to you and your family...Always congrats on your wedding plans Sunsetbride1 if I have over stepped my boundaries I do apologize
  6. Get fit & fabulous (LOL)...I would like to become more fit and concentrate on becoming self employed full-time
  7. It’s a digestive disease that typically forms in the large intestine...Pressure on weak areas of the colon cause the formation of pockets/pouches in the digestive tract. When these pockets become inflamed or infected that is known as Diverticulitis. From what I've heard it is found to occur in people with a low or lack of adequate fiber in their diet, over the age of 40 and lack of exercise. I'm under 40 and had a flair up of gout...This was after I completed a body cleanse to get ready for vacation and look good. All went well but when I came it hit me...They say it was because I cleansed and then ate like a pig.
  8. I would look into the Domestic Partnership...This will probably be easier to convince him of doing since the money factor was not enough motivation. It seems getting married before your scheduled wedding date is too outside the box for him...Remember men are from Mars (lol).
