  1. Congrats RebelBride! I can't wait for the full reviews and perhaps some pictures

Queensridge is located about 15-20 min away from the strip. All of the hotel/casino/resort in the area are practically giving away the rooms, because they are trying to attract visitors. The economy is hitting the strip hotels really hard. It all depends where you want to stay. Just let me know. Take care! ~Susana Thank you so much Susana, but I don't want to put you to any trouble. If you happen to get a little curious about the venue, I would LOVE to hear all about it. As far as the head count, we are about 50 people. I really don't have a preference to on or off the strip, I just don't want it to look like a set wedding or backdrop (No offense to Vegas weddings). The online pictures of Emeralds look very nice...I love the long aisle with the fabric wrapped trees and lights...very picturesque. I hope I can plan a trip out to scout some locations and finalize a venue. I would like to go to the Bridal Show you and FoxyBride were talking about. Anyway, thank you so very much and any information that you can share is always appreciated.
  3. Welcome Aboard...Glad to have another 2010 Bride in the house
  4. Welcome Aboard...I'm a 2010 Bride also
  5. Thanks so much for the lasvegasbride.com website. I found one place of interest on there. Would anyone have any information or reviews for Emerald at Queensridge? Thanks in advance. Also, any advise on nice party suites under $1500
  6. I am so sorry to hear that. At first I dealt mostly with the assistant wedding planner and I believe the marketing coordinator of Pacific Monarch. Between the two of them I got everything I needed. I did not secure a date at that time because I was told they were only booking for 2009erto get all the information. The chapel is beautiful and I would love to have my wedding there but it seems the required number of guests has changed and I will probably not be able to meet the criteria. Good luck! If you want to give it one last try, see if you could speak with Vanessa the Wedding Planning Assistant
  7. I love the idea of an in-suite reception or after party. I have been on the internet viewing suites. I had no idea about the Stardust Suite...Very nice FoxyBride. This forum is a true blessing...I hope I can contribute more information as I get further along in the process, but thank you all for sharing.
  8. Wow! That is such a good idea. I never thought about in in-suite reception. I came across this thread because my plans to get married in Cabo may not be possible. So, I thought Vegas Baby I actually thought it would be less expensive and easier for my guest to get to (there are always specials to Vegas. So at this point I guess I'm keeping my option open.
  9. I really had my heart set on Cabo Azul but I don't think I will be able to meet the minimum guest requirement . From the posts on the board there seems to be several options, but the only location that I have actually seen in person is Cabo Azul (the chapel is wonderful, I fell in love). Also, there seems to be new places opening up...Anyway if anyone can help me with some alternatives...Please share pics and websites. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!
  10. Have you tried speaking to Vanessa in his absence? She is the Wedding Planner Assistant and was very delightful and helpful with me, especially when Sergio was not available. Sergio is the main guy, but Vanessa might be helpful right now.
  11. Kim K had Velashape done (I think mentioned it in my previous post)...It feels like a warm deep massage (about $100 - $150 per treatment). Not sure how far one is willing to go to remove the cellulite but I saw an episode of Dr. 90210 with Dr. Manus removing cellulite from a patient. Here is the link Dr. 90210: Smooth Stems | Veoh Video Network
  12. I have DirecTV and love it! Althought I have been trying to get information regarding AT&T's U-verse which is like Fios. It allows have only 1 central hub DVR that functions on upto 4 TVs (that's all I know, lol). The main thing is that I can have my home phone, internet and television all together and it will be just a little more than what I pay for just my DirecTV, at least that is what they are telling me. I've made no moves yet, because I am please with my current service. If anyone has info let me know.
  13. Hello all, This time of years always seems to be a little difficult. My FI and I have our on set of traditions for the holidays (he likes to be with his family and I like to be with mine). Can you guys please share or advise of how to get over this hurdle. Our families live about 75 miles from one another so the 1/2 days do not work well. I think I live in a bubble world and thought the guy just kinda went along the the girl. please share any advise, story or your current trandition and how it changed
  14. Congrats & Welcome Aboard
