  1. I Love dress number 1, yes its "different" but in a good way!!! A DW is always where we should wear "different" dresses. It would look fabulous on a beach wedding with tropical flowers, way more interesting than a "normal" dress Good Luck
  2. Can any of the wonerful BDW ladies tell me what the weather would be like in November in the Riviera Maya??
  3. cuba is a stunning place for a wedding and having stayed in Varadero previously I agree that it something for all ages....... The Iberostar Varadero is a stunnign resort and I have seen some gorgeous pics on here. Good Luck with your planning
  4. We visited ROR in october and did the following: Dunns River ( it's a must, we had soooo much fun) Glistening water ( a bit disappointed, not as good as the website says) Bamboo Rafting ( nice relaxing and beautiful) I would have liked to do the horseback riding sounded amazing!!

  9. I havent stayed there but we saw this resort when we were in cuba and it looked stunning!!! You can catch the round robim bus that takes you into Varadero right outside the hotels we did the complete circle to look at all the hotels the Tryp was nice aong with the Iberostar Varadero and the Barcelo.
  10. Have you tried the search tool on here I am sure I have see a wedding review from this resort but it may be from the summertime
  11. I have heard mixed reviews about this resort. We stayed at ROR and only went into Ochi twice........ I did not think I would like to stay down town. The SJG looked in need of a refurb and the beach was tiny. I tink this would be ok for a holiday but maybe not for a wedding if your looking for a beach location IMO

  15. Only saw Red Stripe but it went down a treat in the Jamaica sun
  16. What is causing you to doubt your choice? I visited ROR recently and watched 2 weddings there and both were stunning (mfraz was one of them if you want to see the ROR set up you can search for her review) Does it have to be a Saturday, once everyone is there you are on Jamaica time mon!!!!
  17. I would love it if we had this in England I have to rely on my Mum to look after him when I am at work. He can be hard work ( a 4 year old Boxer ) I saw this when we visited Canada and it seemed V Popular!!

  19. I would go with the main bar just off reception where the entertainment is............ There are plenty of seats and a reggae band on till the main shows start
  20. I am so sorry it did not go as smoothly as planned. The weather is the reason we have switched to february as we experienced the storms when we were there in september and you could guarantee rain most days from 3pm onwards........
