  1. ..or if it's easier (i just noticed you are in BC), we can ship them all to a US address (avoiding the customs hassle) and then we can ship yours to you.
  2. Ignore my question - I just saw they are 70 CENTS...which is only a little more than my cheap, not customized, not changing color cups cost from the Dollar Store...so I am in!! I assume then we will just pay your shipping costs to send them to us - right?
  3. Do we have any idea of the price of these cups? I love them. I would need probably 60 of them. I had already bought some at the dollar store, but I can hopefully return them if these turn out to be reasonable. The Brown/Turquoise are the perfect colors for me...but i can live with black - if we want to do that as well. Between the 4 of us...are we getting close to 250?
  4. Hi Martha - great pics - you look like you had so much fun. the photo of your husband kissing your belly brought tears to my eyes - what a special photo to show your new child in the future!!
  5. I just got mine yesterday - also from Barry!! You can't beat the price, and he had the TEAL color, which many others didn't have! Yours look fabulous.
  6. They look wonderful, and your brochure is fantastic! I just finished mine and I know they are a LOT of work. Congrats. Your guests will love them.
  7. I like the Teal one...but i think it's important to think about the color paper you will be printing on. My colors were brown/teal, but when it came to invites, and I wanted to actually print on brown or teal paper, I couldn't because the colors didn't show up. (just something to think about)

Quick question for you regarding the OOT bags, are you planning to give one per person or one per room? Thanks! Hi everyone! I am getting married at the Del Mar on 12/8. Anna, I will be 2 days after you for my wedding...we are arriving on the 2nd - so I may get to meet you while you are there. Beach Bride - your "to do" list is almost exactly like mine - except I need to still get my jewelery and shoes and figure out all the music play-lists. I am struggling with the center-piece as well. I know they don't offer any centerpieces, and I honestly cannot fathom brining down vases, etc for the tables...I so I would really appreciate hearing what the WC says about the what the florists can do. Also, I'm going to ask my WC at the Del Mar if there is a policy about brides leaving stuff down there? For example, you have glass starfish tea-light holders, that perhaps I could split with you, and you could leave them there? That saves you having to bring them home, saves me having to bring them there, and helps with costs.......this could possibly work for other people with other things too I guess. I need them to give me some more details around center-pieces - that is starting to stress me out. Also, I asked (pleaded, begged) for a grooms room (complimentary) the night before the wedding, but they said "no go"...oh well. I saw it was somethign the Dreams brides got for free, so thought I'd give it a try. I'm working with Reyna at the Del Mar, and I have found her to be very responsive. We are using the Tropical restaurant for the dinner/reception, for the rental fee of $800 (which seemed pretty steep to me) and i wanted to do the cocktail reception at the pool bar, but she keeps trying to steer me into doing it on the outside fo the Tropical Reception (but has not been able to show me any photo's of how this works). I cannot get a feel for why they keep eding me away from the pool bar for this 1 hour reception, with 40 people and a Mariachi band.....does anyone have any thoughts on this? Or what is any of the Del Mar brides doing for a cocktail hour (while photo's are being done)? Would love to hear how it is working for you. Have a great weekend everyone!! happy Planning.

  13. Looks like everyone had a great time - how fun to meet people that you have been reading about, supporting etc for soooo long - I'm jealous!!!

  15. I think they are great bags.....probably a little expensive though (depending on how many you need) - I was trying to stay under $2.00 for the bag and $10.00 total per bag (as I need 25 of them) - if you only need a few, then $5.00 is probably ok! Definintely nice bags though, and great colors - i'm sure people will keep them and use them again at home.
  16. Try not to feel strange about doing this - i think you are actually doing your guests a favor by registering (as it makes the shopping easier for them). We registered at BB&B and Target.....it was quite fun actually...walking around the store with the little scanner and putting all our "wishes" on it.

  18. I'm curious what everyone is doing the night before the wedding....tradition says you should not see your FI the day of the wedding and i think usually the bride/groom sleep separately that night. I like this idea...but being at a resort makes this a little more challenging. Would enjoy hearing if others are doing this, and if so, logistically...how? Is your FI staying with someone else, or are you? Will you make plans to hang out in different parts of the hotel the day of the wedding, etc. Thanks
  19. Where did you get the Hawaiian (green) one - I love it.
  20. I did my addresses on clear labels for the STD's, but for my invites, I acutally did them on the printer (feeding the envelope through the printer) and they were super easy and turned out really well. I also did the return address at the same time. I do think the labels look almost just as good though.

  22. I got mine on E-Bay for under $ 1.00 - and I think shipping was a few dollars. If you can wait till November, I can give you mine (though it's not super -big)
  23. For our Groomsmen, my FI chose to get them personalized money clips.
  24. I have a MOH and 2 Bridesmaids. I got them: Personalized Jewelery Pouches, Personalized leather passport holders (as they are all travelling from Canada), a BRIDESMAID tank top (to wear to the rehearsal dinner, or Bachelorette party) and a robe for each girl. I also got them starfish necklaces to wear with their dresses, and I paid for their dresses. The expense to travel from Canada to Mexico is pretty high - so I really wanted to try to treat them to some nice things.
