  1. I am a zebra girl, but since the wedding planning started, I am in love with Damask. Either would be awesome, but if it was me...I would choose Damask.
  2. They also did a version of a story like this on Nip Tuck (if anyone ever watched that show). So scary. You would think with the heart monitor, oxygen levels and blood pressure going crazy that the docs would have realized something was up. So glad she survived.
  3. Thanks for sharing, Morgan. I am interested in looking into this book. Definitely need to keep these things in mind during the Holidays. I saw on an email the other day that the Thanksgiving meal could be up to 7,000 calories...and that is scary! Thanks again...
  4. I am actually forcing myself to wait until January to do anything else for the wedding. I am taking two grad classes (on top of working full time) and they end on Dec 11th. I have had to tell myself to wait until these classes are done, or I would be failing right now!! I feel like I am close to where I should be. My friends and family are being so slack in booking their travel that I don't want to do too much DIY, not knowing an approximate number of guests yet!! We will be okay ladies...still around 7 months to go Actually today is my 7 months exactly to go!! WOOHOO!!!
  5. Beautiful pictures...and I must say that your flowers are breathtaking
  6. I would love to know the same thing...sounds like our families would have fun together
  7. Make sure you get plenty of protein...more than just chicken at dinner. My trainer has me on protein powder 2-3 times a day and wants me to eat chicken (or something with protein) for lunch and dinner everyday. I am a veggie girl, so it is hard for me to eat so much meat, but if I don't get the chicken in, I just make sure I take my protein powder. Good luck!

  9. Her style is great..I'm glad you are pumped about it! I go for mine THIS SATURDAY! YIKES!! I am so excited, yet so nervous. BD pics are not something I ever thought I would do, but FI will definitely love them and never expect them!
  10. For some reason I can't see what you posted, but thanks for trying to help!
  11. I heard about this on Good Morning America...so cute!
  12. Not sure if they have what you are looking for, but I plan to use this site to get some phrases in Spanish for my guests... single-serving.com phrase guides Good luck!
  13. I remember seeing one on someone's post or planning journal, but now I can't find it. I have searched through a bunch of the planning journals and done a search and I haven't come up with anything. I think it was a personalized sign saying "__________ Wedding" with an arrow or something? Does anyone remember this? Thanks for your help!!
  14. I am 25 and still not sure what I want to do with my career. In my brain, I keep thinking that one day it would be exciting to be a nurse and then maybe a veterinarian and then I would love to try photography and even interior design. And my education - degree in business marketing and public relations with a grad. certificate in nonprofit management!! Too bad you have to go to school in order to do all these different things
  15. Welcome from another Punta Cana bride We will probably have around 25 or so guests at our wedding and will also get legally married before we leave. We are also having a reception once we get home to celebrate with those that could not make it to the DW. I think your plan sounds very nice. It will definitely save some stress and money. Good luck with your planning!
  16. I'm sorry that you were upset! I'm glad that your FI was there for you. I don't know what it is about us women and our weight issues. But you seem like a strong willed person, and even though you are on such a stressful schedule, I believe you can get back on track. A lady I work with takes a walk on her lunch break everyday and has been able to lose all her baby weight from her last pregnancy, with just the walking and eating right. You can do it!! If you get down on yourself or more stressed out, you always have the BDW girls to vent to. You know we will be there for you! Good luck with everything
