  1. Do you know the brand or style? Is it strapless or halter or another? That might help generate some interest...
  2. Wow Morgan, how fun!! I love it! My FI is really into photography so I love seeing new things. Enjoy your new toy

  4. I'm not artsy, so its hard for me to visualize what it would be like. I do love the STD inspiration! I would do a sample run and then post so we (I) can see
  5. Love it! I really love the signs with your wedding date - very cute! Your parents will be thrilled.
  6. Beautiful! I love the colors! And Barney was so happy to be running around
  7. Thanks for the post! That's good advice One question...what is a white board? Maybe I should know this but I'm lost... Quote: Originally Posted by beachbride08 6. Get the white boards. 8. You can browse the posts anyday and see all the drama! What really helped us was realizing (and being ok with) the fact that because we chose a DW, not everyone will be there. Some people cant come (money, schedule, etc), some people choose not to. If there are certain people that you really, really want there, you can plan around their schedules. Otherwise, set the date, be happy, and know you cant control what anyone else does!
  9. I know there are a lot of October and November brides that are back...give us your insight (or hindsight maybe)! Please!
  10. Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I dont even know what to say

  12. Beautiful pictures Magda & Rafael! It's so great to hear a good review since we've already booked him I'm so excited about our wedding and having Rafael a part of it! I think his personality will blend perfectly with our guests. Thanks for your post!
  13. There's a big difference between "carbs" and carbs. Obviously No, what I mean is that we all think of carbs as pasta, bread, potatos, etc. But fruit has carbs too - are you willing (or wanting) to give up fruit? You could give up something like "processed carbs". Here's a suggestion - give up high fructose corn syrup. Matt (FI) did this before we moved in together and now I've learned to do the same. We've only found like 2 kinds of bread that don't have it (we get Nature's Valley 100% Whole Grain - 50 cals per slice). Tons of stuff has it so you have to read labels! We aren't super strict about it - for example, sodas have it but if we are at the movies and want a soda, we get one. We just dont buy groceries that have it.
  14. Congratulations!! Very cute story
  15. Vix is a brand I like. I also like J Crew. Nordstroms has a good selection as well as specialty stores like Just Add Water.
  16. Yeah! It's so cute. I'm so happy you got it worked out! My hair girl is more expensive than I wanted but she is soooo worth it! No more tears

We didn't really do much "nightlife" while there, sorry We're early risers so we were in bed by midnight. They did have a halloween party one night and concert/party another night - both were in the Grand Ballroom. We popped in to see what was going on, but it wasn't our scene so we didn't stay. I think this is their attempt at providing some nightlife. They had a live band and dancing, etc. The Sugar Reef bar is open until 11:00pm (I think) and Desires is open until 1am or 2am. Dont quote me on that though! I cant remember the hours of the other bars, but I want to say the lobby bar is open late as well. I think Desires is the dance club, but we didn't go there (because I totally forgot about it). The guests at our wedding are the party themselves, so we aren't concerned with entertaining them. AI is pretty good entertainment for them! Haha. We are planning a night trip to PdC for anyone who wants to go into town, dance and do the "party in Mexico" thing.
  22. Welcome! We also considered DR, but after researching flights, we realized it would be a lot easier and cheaper for our guests if we had our wedding in Playa del Carmen. There are great threads on both locations! You will figure it out...one step at a time

I have another 5 to go for the wedding since I will be in a bikini in front of family & friends. Tracking is great...and it teaches you to pay attention to how much you consume!
  24. My favorite scrubs are from Origins (just go in and they can help you pick one) and Bliss. I'm a little obsessed with Origins...they are a great products and a great company and environmentally conscious too! And congratulations! He's adorable
