It takes 21 days to break a habit...so the first 21 days are the hardest! My cravings really did subside after a few weeks. I still do the small square of dark chocolate and such, I just watch the number of calories. Good luck! You can do it! And remember...nothing tastes as good as being thin feels

Ok, so this is not my actual wedding dress, but I'm so excited about it I have to post. I bought it on here from another bride (for cheap!) and I might wear it at the welcome event or maybe the TTD. Does it look like I need a bra?

Yes, that helps! Thanks! How much is the pro charging you for just one hour if you dont mind me asking? I hadn't considered that. I looked at several sites and the prices all seem to start around $1000 and we just dont have that in the budget. Of course, that is for a package including several hours of video.

I wouldn't suggest it just because that time of year seems so crazy. But if it's out of town and such, it might be the best way. Know that some people will be out of town. My b-day is the 27th and people are often gone. If you decide to do it, I would send out invitations asap! We booked our holiday flight 2 weeks ago, so I'm sure other people are making plans now if they haven't already.

Ah, Jaime, I bummed you cant make it! We will definitely another one after the first of the year. I'm sure we live really close to each other.

Has anyone had friends/family shoot video of the wedding and then have it edited (professionally) at home? What was your experience? Here is what I've thought of so far: Pros: 1. much cheaper ($1200 vs. $200) 2. professional editor can create essentially the same product as far as compilation, music, etc. Cons: 1. have to ask guests/friends/family to do this rather than having a pro dedicated to it 2. risk having bad or un-useable footage (shaky camera, not in focus, etc) 3. have to have your own camera (we do, so this isnt really a con for us) The best videos I've seen are between 6 and 12 minutes with some video mixed with photos as well. I'm thinking a home video might be an option for us. Any insight is appreciated!!

My first idea was a soft up-do because of the wind factor. But when I showed FI what I was thinking, he said "No, your hair looks better down". Haha, so that changed everything! I am wearing a veil so now I'm thinking half-up in a soft way. Also, when I went to get my dress altered, I realized the back looks better with hair down (it's really low cut in the back and even with my long hair down, it shows off plenty of my back). So for me, it was FI's opinion + dress style. I like soft, natural looks, so I'm sure the stylist can do it. And I'm not shy about voicing my opinion so if I wont leave the salon until I love it Maybe post some of your fav hair pics (the knot has a lot) and let us help you decide

I agree with Michelle...we are paying for almost everything ourselves although my mother is helping with some OOT bag items. That's all they can do and we appreciate it!

It gives you similar colors and shapes as well as discounts! I love it

They had one not too long ago but I missed it so I'm in! With the holidays coming up, it might be hard to find a good weekend for everyone. Oh goodness...I just looked at my calendar and the only availability I have in December is Friday the 12th! Yikes, I didnt realize my December was already booked. If that doesn't work, I can do something in January or February

We use Lysol Mildew Remover with Bleach and it really works! It's the best cleaning product I've found. It does stink, so you need to make sure your air vent/fan thing is on and try to keep as much circulation as possible. Good luck!
