Here are the shirts that we got for the GM to wear. They will be wearing khaki pants as well and be barefoot during the ceremony. (Don't mind the wrinkles, someone shoved a large winter jacket into the closet wrinling the shirts up a bit) FI will be wearing a white short sleeved shirt and khakis. (Sort of like he worn to this wedding in Cuba, except pants instead of shorts) RB (our son) will be wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts.

I think they should be getting home sometime today right? Or is it tomorrow? I guess the driving could go a little slower than usual since they will need to stop more often for diaper changes and feedings!

In my DIY thread, I just posted my RB shell I put together lastnight when I couldn't sleep. Let me know what you think and if I should make any changes please!

I'm glad to hear that things have been smoothed out between them. As for your SIL having a hard time with BF and not feeling well...how come it was fine for everyone else I guess it will be one of those mysteries that will go unsolved.

Here is what I have so far for the ring shell. I have old rings of mine tied in since we don't have our wedding bands yet. Also, we will probably have the real ones tied in, but my Mom will be walking down the aisle with our kids, so we will tie them in right before we walk down. The ribbon stuff that goes around the back part of the shell is looser underneath so his hand will fit into it nicely. Let me know what you think. Should I make any changes?

Our neighbour told me about a woman see saw in the store one time carrying a little baby girl. Her and her sister were commenting to the woman how cute her baby was and asked her what her name was and this is how the convo went: Sisters - What is her name? Mother - Princess Sisters - Oh she is a princess, but what did you name her? Mother - Princess! Sisters - Her name is Princess? Mother - Yes! Finally my neighbour decided to ask - Why did you name her Princess if you don't mind me asking? Mother - If you have 8 boys before getting a baby girl, you can name her Princess if you damn well want too!

OMG!!! I just read this whole thread and I can't believe this. I have 2 small children and as a nurse I also see many others that have babies and have company (sometimes a LOT of company). Anyway, while I was in labour with my daughter, I had guests come in. My Mom was there for most of the time, except for when she went home to shower and change since she was working nights (we work together as nurses) when I went in @ 1am. My sister was 13 then, and she got off the bus right by the hospital so she could be there. FI Mom came in a few times, then some friends came in and then there were all the nurses that stopped in to see how things were going. I finally ended up with a c-section at 9pm, and my Mom, sis and FMIL were there. My Mom was actually in the OR with us and took pics since she also works in the OR too. The next few days people came to visit and see the baby. It was tiring, yet nice and relaxing if that makes sense. Having a baby is an exhausting experience, and having the company was tiring, but it was relaxing to have a break since they took care of she when they were there. Honestly, I was upset with FFIL, but it wasn't because I didn't want him there, it was because he didn't come to she her. She was about a week old before he saw her because we had to take her out to see him!!!!! I don't care that he doesn't like hospitals, I felt like should have at least came to see her once before we were out of the hospital. After all, we were there for 5 days and he lives 10 mins OOT. Bonding - studies now say that bonding can be done anytime after birth and not essential in the first few hours after birth like they used to say. After having both my kids I was so out of it because of my sensitivity to anesthetics that I barely remember the first 24 hrs, and I wasn't able to do too much without other people there to help me, and our bonds were great! Visitors - If you don't want visitors, then you don't have them, and that means ALL visitors. Sometimes people only want family, but you don't pick oneside over the other. It is all or none!!!! Rude Comments - Totally not called for!!! Standing up for Family - I agree that your bro needs to say something to his wife or things are only going to get worse. I am glad that you were able to talk to him and hopefully things get sorted out for everyone! Hormones or not, your SIL is being a 'see you next tuesday'! I feel so bad for your parents, give them a hug from me! Sorry for the long rant, but I had some catching up to do. LOL. Oh yeah, Congrats on being an Auntie to that gorgeous little man! He is adorable! That man of yours Danielle is so great for calling your Mom too!

We are going to see if they can reserve a section in one of the buffets for us to have a group dinner the first whole day we are there so everyone can be introduced if they haven't already, and we can let them know the plans for the wedding day! If they are going to try to charge us a fee for it, than we will just make sure we are there for when they open the buffet for supper and go get our tables together!

I will talk to my friend who works at a registries as she gets a lot of odd (and hilarious) names that go through there. I knew a guy name Sterling Ball and his sister was Crystal Ball. When I have to sign my initials at work, I sign ET! When I got pregnant with my daughter and we were thinking of names for a boy, FI wanted Allen as his middle name since it is also his middle name. I liked the name Ethan, and for awhile I couldn't figure out why the name Ethan Allen sounded familiar, then I realized and than name was nixed!!! LOL. My friends uncle asked if The Brick was taken!!! LMAO My mom went to school with a guy named Harry Doer (do-her). There is a teacher at the junior high here whos name is Kevin Dye. Not so bad right? On the report cards it comes out as dyke. Does anyone watch David Letterman? For awhile he talked about and even had a guy on the show a few times because of his name - Dick Assman!!!! I have actually been thinking about ways to incorporate a starfish into the guys boutonniers but have only gotten as far as thinking about it. Maybe I will start playing a bit too, and I'll get my Mom to help since she is so creative it is sickening. Maybe with some of the ideas posted and a few of us working on some, we will find something that works well.

Okay I have to admitt that I was also thinking printer ink!!! LOL Anyways, I think that they both look great! As for the mistake, is it missing a black spike thing on the left bottom? That was the only thing that I noticed, but not until I looked for it.

That is exciting. Videos are always great ways to relive the big day. Now you can watch the video over and over until your pics arrive. LOL

I like the 4th ring, but I am partial to the white gold. You mentioned that he likes 2 colours too though. IF the yellow gold/white gold is a no go, I choose ring #2.
