This is still a really sad reality, and they should have taken the chance to have their teens to be teens....not moms!!!!

Is it just me or did it look like the heart jewel was in the back of the thong? With that said, how the heck did the metal staple end up in the eye?

We have always been planning on having the rehearsal dinner at one of the buffets. We are going to get everyone meet us there for when supper first starts so that we can make sure we can all sit in the same area. The only other option is if we are all able to get into an a la carte together. This may be possible if there aren't too many more people that go.

We are going to do bubba kegs for our guests and we will hand them out before we leave. Those we don't see before getting to the airport will get theirs at the airport. All of our guests will be leaving from the same airport with the exception of a 4 families that haven't even confirmed if they are coming or not. As for the price, they go on sale at Canadian Tire, so we are going to get them then. A bunch of my family that went on a trip together last year have them and loved them at the resort!

Those are cute, unfortunately she doesn't ship to Canada. Oh well, it is a great idea for all BDWers in the US!

I am sorry to hear that things aren't going your way getting home. At least you have figured something else out. I can only imagine how much you want to be home, and it won't be long until you can be there. Wishing you luck to make it home without anymore detours in the way!!!

A wedding in Cuba that we went to, everyone would meet up at the lobby bar in the evening. The resort was smaller, so there was only one buffet, making it very easy to run into other wedding guests there as well. We have already been to the resort that we are getting married at and last time we were with a group as well. Last time we usually went to the one buffet, and then we would meet up at the bar outside the buffet for evening drinks. As our resort is a 4 in 1, and this time we are staying in a different area, the same buffet and bar are central to everything. Once we arrive at the resort, we will show everyone where it is and let them know that we can use that as a general meeting place in the evenings.

There are several people that have not responded to our STD's, Invites, or emails. I have everything listed on the website as well, but I have only heard from a couple people/families. I think that sending out a letter with more details may be the way to go. Like it was mentioned, everyone checks their mail.

We have talked about a DW since before we were even offically engaged. People have always said that they would be there, especially if we gave them a years notice. Well, we are engaged, gave everyone a years notice, and most of them aren't coming for one reason or another. Then there are the ones that still say they are coming, yet haven't booked and I am not totally convinced they will ever do so. In the end you need to do what you want to do. If it is getting really expensive having so many people, is there anyway that you could look at other resorts that won't cost you for the extra people? I know of some resorts in RM that won't charge for the extra people if all the guests are willing to give up an a la carte reservation for the wedding. Are you set on a wedding in Mexico? Or are you willing to look at other places? I know that in the DR we don't have to pay anything for the reception. It is all included. I see you are from the states, so I guess Cuba is out of the question then. That is another beautiful place that has everything included.

I showed one of my co-workers this thread as well as the original ferret thread and we were LOL. I mainly showed her the pics, and did a brief explaination along the way since I was working in the ER and I didn't have any patients right then, but could have at any time.

They have several templates to use, and that come with pics which you can change out. The template I used has the beach and ocean, then there are 3 pics on the one side. I changed the 3 pics to ones we took in the DR last time we were there. Then you can also post some pics on the other pages, as well as the photo album.

I have to get back into my healthy lifestyle again. The past few months I have not been doing so well with that, but I haven't gained any weight!

My parents got the shirt from Mexico when they were down there in Dec. It is a size 2 and will hopefully still fit him in Nov (he'll be 16 months then). FI will be wearing a whie shirt too.

I have been wondering if he was still around. I used to watch him on Crossing Over all the time, but haven't seen it forever. I am a believer, and would love to go see him sometime! Let us know how it goes.
