Totally helps..I thought it was 350, but the other brides that already posted their budgets put down 250, even though they are 2009 brides....just thought i would clarify that and let them know that its 350. not 250.

Prebook!!!! You wont lose out on getting Mammee Bay because they hold multiple wedding reception dinners there......but I would book for both asap as the Seagrape can be taken up quite quickly! Annd, I would go through your TA and book because I tried booking through Chandlyn and got no response.

The poolside is $15 per person for table set up, lights, and open bar...

We are having our dinner at Mammee and then a poolside reception after that....I dont really know how busy the pool area will be around 8-10pm because they dont have tables set up for any other ppl, only your reception...

There has recently been another thread about this......you might want to check that out But, I was in the same dilemma. We are arriving Saturday and wanted to get married Tuesday....I tried writing Chandlyn, but all I got was a response saying that she will discuss my wedding plans 2 months ahead of time- nothing about my date question.. I told my travel agent about it and she handled it no problem...I dont think you will have a problem with it at all...but, to be on the safe side I would just get your travel agent to deal with it asap and u can start making those std probably by next week

Yes it is....we are going to a child friendly resort for our wedding so it will be nice to get away with just adults for a week!

Quite excited, after a lot of research as to where we would want to go for our honeymoon we finally decided on Couples Negril! Ya!!!

I also had that same issue and I stressed over it for days!!!! However, we just had our TA call and she talked to whomever and dealt with the situation. We are arriving Saturday and getting married on the Tuesday- all is good! I tried to write to Chandlyn before, but go no where, so I got my TA involved and everything is a go!

Oohh good idea! It would definately be cheaper as in everything is free! Thanks for mentioning it! Does the Couples shuttle go ever so often? I just wouldnt want to wait at the airport for the next shuttle to go....Me and airports and waiting dont mix well! I would rather wait at the hotel....But I would like to see my guests off!

Lee's contacted me back rather quickly by phone and email! Their rate from Ocho Rio to Negril is $150.00..... So, thats not bad for the few hours to get there!!! I think a random cab would cost a lot more! Just thought I would update, for other brides that were inquiring as well!

Yes, the thought about going somewhere so close does make it even more appealing....im not overly a fan about having to travel past montego bay to go to another resort, and then have to travel back to montego bay for when we finally go home...but, i do want to make the best out of vacation though and see as much as we can....so going over to negril will allow us to do that!!! some of the activities there sound so much fun, and i think we will be doing a lot of tours/excursions with our wedding guests around the ocho rios area..so when it comes time to the honeymoon, we would also like to have some activities planned and being in a totally different location/area of jamaica will allow us to do that!!! i heard sandals dunns river is amazing though...we are looking into other sandals resorts in jamaica, just not that one cause of where its at- maybe montego bay (iffy about that) or negril..... i have email lees so hopefully they will get back to me with an afforable rate!!!!

Im trying to check out pricing for our honeymoon (looking into couples negril), and on the couples negril site, I typed in hotel only (because we will already be there a week before at a different resort) and then the week that i wanted, and then picked a room that i wanted and typed in 2 ppl for that room.....the price that came up was $2898.00 or something like that.....now is that for each person or for the both of us!? I have never really had to look around at pricing so Im not too sure... Can anyone let me know?!
