    My parents are going down the week before us....we are sending them wtih all out oot bag stuff. they only take 1 suitcase between the two of them anyways, so their other suitcase will be filled with my stuff...that way we wont have to worry about packing it all ourselves!!

    We plan on going to each guest's room to hand them out personally. That way too we can see where their rooms are since our hotel is so huge!

    Since there are no pics floating around of the poolside reception (actually there maybe one, but many of the members all agreed that it didnt look like the Riu at all so we arent counting that) I was just wondering who is next to have a poolside reception! I am anxious to see some pics of how they lay it out and what not!!!! I am having one but not till April 21 2009...anyone sooner than that!?

    cecebecka, I dont know what the tables looked like...and i dont even t hink there is a pic of a poolside rec floating around!! the 15 is for tables set up, chairs, lights and open bar for the guests.... im not having the dj. i think i just plan on having our ipod or a stereo.... when i booked for the poolside Chandlyn said that we could have it from 830-1030....we are having dinner at 630..

    u can have a poolside reception for 15/person after a dinner at Mammee....thats what we are doing...

    I sent one to my parents and his..even though they were in the know of EVERYTHING...they would love it as a keepsake for sure!

    bag wise, i got mine from michaels.....they were mini canvas bags in all kinds of fun colours...and they were a good price with the coupon... the actual oot bag materials i got from all over- michaels (travel candles), target (sunscreen, first aid kit, lipbalm), dollarstore, etc!

    My dress comes in Oct. 3rd, and I am taking my dress somewhere else to get altered....I am hoping that all that needs to be done is to shorten it and get the train bustled up or get rid of it all together.... Just wondering when everyone went in for their first fitting?! I plan on losing some weight, so I dont want to go in too early, but dont want to go in too late!

    I got my TA to call and book everything...I did it almost a year away from my wedding date!

    My grandparents went there 10 years ago when they were in their 70s and had a lot of fun..mind you they did swim in the pool, but there were lots of other activities that they were able to do..and they did a lot of excursions.....they are coming back with us this year when i get married and they are now in their 80s!

    well if a bar is right here, then i guess people will just have to get up and get stuff from there if they want to drink!!! kinda sucks, but whatever...im already paying 15/person for the after dinner reception for ppl to drink so im not going to pay another 10 so they can get drinks waited on them for dinner, esp if the bar is right there!
