Hey.. wedding is Tuesday April 7th, 2009- ummm suppose to be arriving April 2nd (Thursday), but we are hoping the hotel will let us arrive April 4th (Saturday) I tried writing them about arriving the Saturday instead because we cant get a flight and hotel package to fly in for the Thursday!!! Anyone else having this problem and not being able to be there 2 business days before your wedding date? and will they accomodate this!?

Congrats and happy planning!!! Try to avoid Feb and March as those are considered pretty busy months- especially with school breaks and such... I had a hard time picking a location too, we finally decided on ROR in Jamaica, but the Riu is actually pretty big with 850+ rooms, so that wouldnt be quite perfect for you! If you end up deciding that it doesnt matter if its a big hotel than I would suggest the ROR because it is all inclusive, in Jamaica!! and its kid friendly!!!! This website will help you out a lot, no worries!!!

We had been dating for about 2 1/2 years.

We went to Cuba with FH's family and one day he asked if I wanted to go for a walk on a beach. I wasn't feeling so well but I thought that a walk would help my stomach a bit....we walked around the resort and then on our way back to our hotel room we took the beach back. I saw that someone had written "Will you marry me?" in the sand and I of course had to comment how sweet it was that a guy was asking his gf to marry him like that....I turned around to see his response and he was on one knee holding a gorgeous ring! Haha I was definately too shocked to say yes at first!!! I thought I would always cry once I got proposed to, but I think I was in too much shock!!!! I didnt even hear his little speech that he made cause I was too overjoyed!!! Of course I eventually said yes...it was definately the best holiday ever!!!! He too had asked my parents for their blessing a week before we went for our trip. That was something very important to me because I know my father and mother would appreciate it. Thats my story!!!

Hey everyone, I am definately a new newbie here! I cant get over the wealth of information!! I am so glad I came across this website!!!! I recently got engaged in Cuba at the beginning of March- in Cuba... We have been researching and reading up on places where to have a DW...I think we have finally decided to have one at the Riu Ocho Rios...I am super excited that there are tons of people in that group!!!!
