I am so sorry and nothing I can say will make it better but the girls are right - take a couple of weeks to not think about it then decide what to do. My father is really ill and i've already said no matter what happens I will not cancel my wedding, FI's sister is also really ill and he has said the same. However that is us and everyone is different. My friend's son was killed in Afghanistan and 2 weeks later his uncle got married she said it was a really hard day but a wonderful one 2 because it helped show her that life really did go on and that even if he wasn't there physically she knew he was there in spirit. I think they even kind of included him in the ceremony. You'll make the decision thats right for you and FI when you need to xx

Its different in the UK to the US and Canada. Over here we don't have showers.
