OK so funny story about the pic w/ my fiance's shirt and tie... I have all my wedding stuff at the house, and my attire and his attire at my moms. Well I don' t know what I was thinking. I packed and thought - oo it would be a great shot to do a pic in the tie that he will be married in (the pink tie in the pic). So I am all excited about this shot blah blah blah.. WEll we have Turkey day here and I saw his bro - the best man, and proceed to tell him that I bought his tie for the wedding. I give him the tie ( the one I am pictured in) and it didn't hit me until that moment that I took the naked pics in the tie that the best man is wearing!!!! FI'S IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! OMG - think he will notice??!

Hey ladies.. I took a few weeks hiatus but I am back... I couldn't leave for too long! I missed you all! -- No but really it has been BUSY! ANyhow- I took a ride to see TESS up in Portland ME the other week and wanted to share my BD story with you! I have to say that she was wonderful! I had no problems being relaxed with her. Although I still think that I was a little reserved. - I didn't know if I was supposed to smile or to just act sexy. The proof will be when I look at all the photo's I guess. I got there and we went up to the studio where there is the bed, and other backdrops. We went over my wardrobe and she did my hair and makeup- it was nice not to have to worry about it myself. And this gave me a chance to get to know her a bit and ease my nerves. I still can't believe I was nervous- I am always preforming in front of people and stuff! So we start with a few shots and then some more - before you know it I was topless, and 3 hours later she had shot over 300 pics and called it a wrap. I couldn't belive how quickly it went by! Later that night she emailed me a few teasers, she said that she litterally grabbed 15 and didn't photoshop them / anything. I can't wait to get the proofs so that i can put the album together! 300 pics are a lot to choose from - she said that she was going to have fun photoshopping them. I had 10 costume changes. - I was fun and exciting and I can't wait to see the end result for sure! I am so glad that I found her info on here from another BDW member- I would have never found her on my own! Here you go ladies!

WE are also having an AHR< in May of 2009. We already booked a caterer who will put a cheese / fruit and shrimp display out during a cocktail hour... That is when we will be playing the video of the ceremony and a slideshow of pics on a screen. Luckily we have the ability of doing this since we are using my parents back yard and setting up a tent etc... It is ending up like a real wedding becuase then we will have a sit down dinner / buffett style to feed the guests. We are starting at 4:00, dinner at about 5:30 and then we will be sending other invites to EVERYONE (not just immediate family) to come and join us for dancing after the dinner. I will most likely put 8:00 on that invite. We aren't getting a DJ, I will use my Ipod. WE are renting a dancefloor and gonna boogie all night though! - We are dancers can you tell?!

Lisa, No matter where you would choose to have the wedding you would not be able to get accurate prices or flights at this time anyhow... Just wait a bit to send the STDS! But you can go ahead and choose so that it makes your life easier

O yeah it appears that I am gonna have to get on some key guests buts to book thier travels also - the last thing that I wanted to have to do! Everyone seems to be procrastinating this year!

OK I was also stressing out about having a lot to do... I guess that it hits you once you are under the 6 month mark huh? But this weekend I reorganized my binder and spreedsheets and feeling a little better. So far, We have: Booked flight and land ordered dress and sash, earrings, need to get flower for hair got 3 pairs of shoes. (Just in case!) went on a shopping spree and bought 6 sundresses, one for each night of the pre wedding and honeymoon! - Easy and cute attire bought FI's suit shirt and tie ordered moms dress completed web-site (needs updating!) bought MOH and BM suits bought oot bags and started to compile goodies to fill them! made and sent out STDS booked AHR caterer ( I hate planning 2 weddings! this was supposed to be a piece of cake! Its getting BIG) bought AHR invites bought AHR decorations/ centerpieces bought DW 8" starfish to make some kind of centerpiece out of them... what was I thinking. I am creative but am having a block on this one! Had Legal day! Yipppeee! completed Vows. registered for gifts asked attendants to participate To Do: Order DW invites get raffia fans for programs and complete them! Sexy lingerie and BD shoot! -- FUN! get stationary for DW and AHR placecards and print! complete table numbers book AHR hotel blocks pick up dress/ get alterations get final accessories for "look" alter FI's suit get parent and attendant gifts work on 1st dance compile song list & set up I POD. Pay travel balance finish OOT bags Order Sand ceremony vases, cake topper, knife and server Convince FI to do TTD and get a dress:) **I feel like I have so many DIY projects that I cant start because I need more crafting / supplies to get moving on it, but I don't know where to start with shopping first. It's like when I see it, then it clicks and I gobble it up, but when I feel crunched to get that ribbon / paper to complete a project I can never seem to find what I am looking for... Know what I mean?! So I guess I am a little further along than I thought. I am sure that there is a ton that I am missing though, esp since it is 1:30 in the AM and here i am typing this! LOL
