  1. Hilarious photos! Love it. Maybe some sort of goofy prize for the winner to really motivate people to get involved.
  2. I love this! I looked at Michaels for a book like that and couldnt find it so thanks for posting the link!!!
  3. If you like brie cheese... Buy the pillsbury crescent rolls. wrap the brie in the crescent roll. before you cover the top, lather the top of the brie with a jam or preserve of your choice, pecans, and maple syrup. Wrap the crescent roll over the top and then put some more maple syrup and pecans on teh top. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Serve with break or crackers. It is AMAZING! A real crowd pleaser:)
  4. sounds like fun!! to anyone that is done it- are the moves complicated? I hate doing a class that i cant' 'get" but it sounds like fun!
  5. Really helpful! I think I'm definitely going to do that. THANK YOU!
  6. Alyssa- where did you do the non-religious counselling? I dont currently belong to a church in my area but would love to do some sort of pre-marital counseling!
  7. Hey All- I'm planning a ceremony on the beach and am looking for ways to involve the mothers since we won't be having the traditional candle ceremony done in more traditional weddings. Anyone have any ideas on ways to involve both mothers in the ceremony? I dont think we're going to do the sand ceremony. Thoughts? THANK YOU!
  8. Gorgeous pictures! You look beautiful and i love your flowers!
  9. And the sizes are pretty good for an all inclusive. So i think you can get away with not doing cups. I personally think its cute though so I plan to make some!
  10. We aren't positive yet but we think we are going to get married when we get back. We dont want to take away from the excitement beforehand but yet we dont want the hassle. i hadn't even considered this before BDW but after reading all the pros and cons we think we may do this.
  11. Oh also, when I asked her if we could just use two or for shorter time, etc. She said you pay them cash directly. and 2 of them could do 20 minutes for $200. MUCH BETTER PRICE.
  12. Also i know some of us had questions about fire dancers. Sandra told me you could get 3 dancers for DANCERS 35 MINUTES , THE PRICE WOULD BE $950 USD , Yipes!
  13. His name Javier [email protected] Also my TA got us a great rate for our site visit in Jan. 89 per person per night and we stayed in a Dreams Jr Suite!
  14. I'm using the resort videographer- comes with the package. And then maybe seeing if he can stay a bit longer. My FI wants to hire someone but a video is a video and you watch it MAYBE 1x every few years so I think a mediocre one will suffice- but it all depends on priorities!! On a side note- I want to make a signature drink or two (rename it after a thing or place of meaning to me and my FI) but use one of their drinks and just rename it, so i emailed the concierge to get their bar menu. See attached for a list of their specialty drinks and the liquor that they have. Dreams tulum Bar menu.xls All_Inclusive_beverages_list.xls
  15. Trisha! Your pics are so beautiful. Thank you for sending!! It was me who asked for a pic of the bar menu! I ended up emailing the concierge and he just sent me the attached doc which lists it out. if its useful to anyone, its attached. I wanted to make a signature drink or two but use one of their drinks and just rename it, which is why i wanted it. thanks for trying by the way!!! Dreams tulum Bar menu.xls
  16. On this subject but a little tangent- for those of you who did this... how many paper lanterns did you buy and bring with you? I'm defnitely going to do this but am not sure how many to use. Guess it depends on how big the space is but let me know your thoughts!!! THANKS!
  17. looks great! This is probably a stupid question but what works best to adhere the white stock paper to the aqua?
