    I agree. I was worried about this but it really isn't that bad of a drive. Plus you're so excited that the time flies by (and our driver stopped and we got beer which helped). If you're worried about it you can always get a private transfer which will help ensure its closer to an hour 20 then 2 hours! I totally think its worth it!

    Awesome! You'll have such a wonderful time! I actualy have one thing... would you please take a picture of the bar menu (pool bar and/or sugar reef bar). I didn't take a picture of it and since i've returned I decided to do a 'signature drink' for our wedding- basically rename one of their drinks after something signifcant to us. I'm going to make a bar menu with our new name but i want to use an actual drink they already make. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!! and have fun!! PS my TA got us a good rate. We stayed in the dreams jr suite garden view for $89per person per night.

    I think she'll check with the florist and then give you a quote. I have a feeling most things will be considered an "upgrage" (more money) but i'm just guessing!

    It took quite a few days and then there was still miscommunication and then she finally wrote me back and confirmed clearly "Anne (my name is AMY) you are confirmed for May 5th or something. I WAS ASKING FOR DECEMBER. But she cleared it up. I think she's just WAY overworked. Call her though- that's usually easier.

    I haven't gotten married there yet but i did a site visit and i though the tulum ruins (5 min cab away or so i hear treacherous bike ride) are absolutely GORGEOUS. defintiely worth seeing. ancient ruins right on this gorgeous turqouise beach. I dont have answers for your other questions though!

    DreamsTulumBride- were there other weddings the weekend you got married? I am getting married Dec 5th and Sandra told me she had 2 or 3 on my date and 2 or 3 the day after. YIPES! I totally want the upgrades for my guests!! I'm thinking its not likely

    Question regarding the flowers through the Dreams packages: I am interested in having very bright, vibrant flowers but would prefer real flowers. Do you think the dreams florist is capable of something like that? I read about them dying the flowers and it rubbing off on the bride's hands and the grooms suit! It just makes me a little nervous. What would you do if you wanted bright flowers like that? Anyone have pics of bright bouquets they got from the florist there? Thoughts? THANK YOU!

    I didn't stay in the hacienda section but I did look in two different hacienda rooms. they were really nice. The only difference I noticed was the bathroom wasn't as big- the tub and shower were both smaller. But other than that they looked nice. Of course Sandra showed us these two rooms so obviously she wouldnt pick a crappy looking room!!
