This is probably a silly question, but...
Has anyone ever actually shopped there? Just wondering if we can count on getting things like glass votive cups, OOT supplies, beach pails for the kids, etc, like we would at our Walmart here at home...
I shopped all day with my mom today and found nothing. For ladies who are getting married early afternoon, what are your mom's wearing? My mom loves the dresses towards the end of the post but is also pretty traditional and was looking for something more daytime...
I would bet that it will be noooo problem. There were three outdoor terraces - one near each gazebo, and then a bunch of other outdoor locations to choose from. Good luck!
Oh, shoot. I do have a bunch of pics but they are on my work computer and I won't be back til Monday! Sorry... but I did get them all from my WC, so if I were you I would email her directly and introduce yourself (if you haven't already) and ask for some pictures... otherwise I can certainly send you what I have on Monday...
Not sure about favors but I have found their flower prices for centerpieces to be out of control. They quoted me anywhere between $120-180 per centerpiece (based upon photos I sent) for incredibly simple arrangements. And I believe that corsages and bouts are somewhere between $40-50.
We wanted to do an outdoor reception and our WC gave us a bunch of different options... so we chose the one we did b/c it was the only covered terrace, which we thought would help with the sun beating down. I also wanted to put it on my invites, so she was able to book it specifically.
There are a bunch of girls on "the other" wedding board who are using Emily Jackson for their photographer. As a matter of fact, one of the girls who is getting married on the same day as I am at the Moon Palace is using her. I've heard great things!
I too am doing menu cards for my buffet reception so that people know what they are eating and to add some color to the table without spending a million dollars.
Hi there...
I used Vistaprint for my STD postcards, a change of resort card, my Tropical Christmas cards, and just last night received their three panel brochures for my welcome bags. You can't beat their prices (make sure to google their current coupons) and if you are not in a major rush choose the slowest shipping... they still always have arrived super quick for me. They are wonderful, IMO.
I did think about the IPOD but I just was worried that someone would have to be responsible for it... and I think that they quoted that the sound system for it would be around $300 or so. We just figured for the difference to turn it over to someone else to deal with would be worth it.
We are doing the private reception outside on one of the terraces on the Sunrise side.
That would be fun!!
Our WC is Elisa. She has been great so far - very responsive.
I had actually planned on just doing the dinner in the restaurant and when I told my dad that there would be no dancing it looked like he would cry... sooooooo... now we are having a private one
The private reception is around $50 pp and I think that we are only going to have about 35-40 people, so it is not cheap, but doable... I am having an issue with paying $1K for a DJ for 40 people, but my dad really is looking forward to dancing... so I figured it is the least we can do!
Who is your WC?
