    That's great! I had gotten the quote from MP on that and it was over $2K through them for the set-up, way out of my budget. Glad to hear that you were able to find a place to do it. I loooooove that look!

    The Art Terrace is outside of the La Gondola restaurant on the Sunrise side. It kind of overlooks the pools. We chose it b/c it was the only covered terrace available, and our reception is at 3, we were afraid the sun would be too strong if we were someplace not covered.

    Hi there! Congrats and welcome! I am getting married at the Moon Palace in April. We're doing a private reception on the Art Terrace and I'm waiting for pricing on centerpieces, linen upgrades, etc. We are doing it all through the resort. I know that they deal specifically with a company. You may want to double check to see if they will allow you to bring in and outside vendor b/c I understand they can be "difficult" about that.

    Hi there, My FI got a beautiful three button tan suit on the Brooks Brother's website right before Xmas. It was on sale for $225. It fits perfectly and is a great cotton/poly blend that will do great in the heat. Good luck!

    The photos are BEAUTIFUL! I am getting married at the Moon Palace and they have been giving me a really hard time about bringing in a photographer from Mexico. Any tips?

    Hi there, My invites came with a reception card but since I am also doing the reception right after the ceremony and pretty much in the same place, I actually had them printed as travel info cards instead.

    They look awesome! If you don't mind me asking, which template did you use? I was looking under the notecard ones and couldn't find a blank 4x8 template. And I am a little computer illiterate and was afraid to try to upload my own design. Yours look beautiful!

    Hey, Yes, we booked directly with the Hotel and yes, we are having a private reception. We will have a free ceremony and cocktail reception for booking 10 rooms and then we will pay to have a private outdoor reception on one of the terraces. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with!

    I agree 100% with PP. We stayed there last April and it was a great resort.... but if the beach is super important that it may not be the place for you. We enjoyed that we could take the floats out and relax with a drink without the worry of being carried out to sea so it worked well for us. Food & people were great. Good luck!

    Hi ladies... Does anyone have a suggestion for a REALLY GREAT and SUPER SUPPORTIVE longline strapless bra? I received my strapless dress a couple of days ago, and the Va Bien bra that I splurged on isn't going to cut it. I'm a 38DD (if that is not TMI!) Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!     Hi there... I have not been to a wedding at the park, but have been to the chapel there and it is absolutely beautiful!!! Congratulations! I did stay at the Occidental and had a wonderful time. The rooms are nice, the service is great, the food is good... the beach is small but we truly enjoyed ourselves... and if your guests are looking for a big beach Playa del Carmen is very close. You'll have a great time!!! Post pics when you come back!

    Hi, I'm also getting married at MP, actually the week after you! We are doing the private reception. We were happy to do the dinner thing, but my dad REALLY wants dancing and such so we figured we'd just suck it up and pay the additional cost. I've heard great reviews either way, I guess it just depends what you're looking for! Best of luck! claire
