Hey chica... I was thinking abotu changing fo rhte reception but then decided against it because I love my wed dress so much and will prob never wear it again. Plus it costs me a pretty penny so I will be wearing it as long as possible! LOL! I do like that dress, though! And granted, it's gonna be hot so you are prob gonna love changing out of your wed. dress!

I need some advice and was wondering what you guys are doing for this... So I'm going to have a red rose bouquet for myself and was going to do all white roses for my maids. But was thinking about donig a combo red/white for my sister, since she is the MOH. Are you guys doing different colors for the MOH? Or just keeping all the maids the same color? I have no idea if I should just keep hers white like everyone else's or combine them red/white? Any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Oh, gosh. I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine that this must be a very difficult time for you. Hang in there and be strong. I am sur eyou have really supportive people all around you. While there this weekend, mine automatically went on "International Service." (I have Sprint). I didn't make any calls but I wasn't able to text message at all. Usually in the northern parts of DR, I can make incoming & outgoing calls and texts with no problems (Puerto Plata, Santiago, and even Santo Domingo). J has an iPhone (AT&T) and was able to call his family in Portugal just fine though.

^^ It def is a great idea because we thought it was going to be a certain way and ended up changing a lot of things. Also, some of the pricing had changed and we added some things on, so it wil end up costing a little more than we originally thought. Another cool thing was driving by the different resorts that I hear you all talking about getting married at and seeing them! I was like, Oh so and so is getting married there! Jorge was like, Erica you spend WAY too much time on the internet. LOL!

Call them up personally and tell them about the dresses. They said they would pay so they probably will. If those sizes fit other guests attending, maybe they can wear them as your maids. Make sure one thing you look into at the resort you choose is how much they charge for the day/night pass for each individual not staying at the resort. Cause most charge for anyone just coming for the wedding. It sucks but ti's true. THat was a major deciding factor for us to axe certain resorts. One was charging $100 per person staying at diff hotel.

I got my maids little beach bag totes with red flip flops (for the beach ceremon), Victoria's Secret shirts that say "Team Bride," memo pads, candles, lip gloss, emory boards, and those car freshener things that dangle from the mirror with a Thank you note. I'm going to give it to them at my bridal shower cause I don't want to lug all that stuff to DR.
