My FI and I have lived together for over 2 years and I am so glad that we did. We were always together anyway so it just made sense. Although, I wish when we decided to live together we would have moved into a new place rather than me moving into his. It worked out that way since his rent was cheaper, but his place is also a lot smaller. He had the place set up like a bachelor pad and he is a saver so trying to clear the place out to make room for my stuff and some of my furniture was a nightmare. He is also not the neatest person and I am a total neat freak. We have been able to work through some of that, but it is a constant battle. When we didn't live together I didn't mind as much since I could go home and get away from the mess, but now that we live together there is no escaping!

I am 9 months older than FI, but I didn't know I was older until after we were dating for a bit. He looks older than me so I assumed he was. Both of his brothers married older women as well. One has a 10 yr age difference and the other is only 1 yr.

My FI makes less than I do, which sucks. However, he is finishing up his degree and hopefully will be able to find a better job once he is done.

I am bringing down some tealight holders. They are all made of pretty heavy glass, and the larger ones are in boxes. I will probably wrap the others in bubblewrap and pack them in my carryon.

I wasn't sure where to post this question since it is not wedding related, but since you ladies always have such great ideas I thought I would ask. I am helping my aunt throw my cousin and his FI a baby shower. She wants to do a unique favor instead of a typical chotchke (sp?) item. They are having a boy, if that helps.

I can't believe the off-duty cop called it in. Obviously, the spot is poorly marked, you'd think he would have just let you slide.

I think that is a lot of $ to pay for a DJ even if he does both events. If you are trying to save money, I would hire a local DJ or just use the ipod. I think paying that amount of $ for a photographer is more reasonable.
