But I can't make up my mind on what I would do on my last day alive! Spend time with family and and friends, but first I'd have to get to them accross the country, hmmm... or I would I get every dessert and have a picnic with FI and eat myself into oblivion...hmmm...decisions, decisions.
  3. I want to buy some inexpensive but cute wristlets as gifts for my girls + moms. I was thinking something like the Vera Bradley ID wallet, but I'm not sure if they would fit anything more than flat items. verabradley.com - Vera Bradley - Accessories I love this for it's price at only $10, and all the different patterns, but I was hoping more stuff could fit into it; lipstick/chapstick tube, . Any ideas on where to find something similar that's a bit bigger with a comprable (sp?) price? TIA
  4. Definetly try the cortizone and try relaxing. Oh that reminds me I read somewhere that massage helps the body heal faster, you should have a massage so you can be relaxed and be yourself tomorrow. Confidence will shine through and make you look beautiful no matter what. Good luck, it'll all work out.
  5. Very nice, I especially like the soaps, makes me want to bust out my soap making kit that's been collecting dust somewhere in the abyss of my home. Great colors too!
  6. I love this hairstyle, sorry Photobucket is not working for me right now I will def need extensions for this look.

Oops, I meant I found a website to download the font on that invite, but now that I click it it isn't a direct link. If anyone is interested in the font it's called Funstuff and you can just do a search on that site for it.

  9. Wow there are way more choices out there than I thought. I'd been looking and haven't found much. I wanted to find some graphics/clipart or backgrounds that I could use to do some DIY Mexican invites. Thanks for sharing everyone. This is a pretty cool STD I found: Faye and Greer: Mexican Paper Flowers
  10. Love them! I think they have a lot of latin flair. Definetly fit into a Mexican look, but with a bit more flamenco/Spanish influence. The contrast of the dark background with the white and bright flower is awesome. Where did you find these? I think email rsvp would work just fine. Maybe add a phone number for those without computers, that way your guests can also call you up with any questions about your trip. As for when to send them, I think March would be good, half way point, and will give enough time for your guests to book.

I found a site that shows step by step instructions on making these, how difficult was it for you to do? And how many did you make? Sorry, one more question, where did you get your supplies to make them? Thanks so much!
  12. Any advise on calling Landy? I have emailed her to ask for good time to call but no reply yet. SunBride: when you say they don't work on weekends, do you mean they are busy with actual weddings and not checking email or taking calls?
  13. I still have to find a place for our two doggies. One has stayed at a kennel before but usually they stay with family. Since our usual puppy caretakers are all going to Tulum with us, they both will have to stay at a kennel this time. We plan on having Tim's parents pick them up when they get back in town, while we are on honeymoon. That way we save us some money and save our pups from being without familiar people for too long. I have thought about hiring a pet sitter for our groups dogs (5 total), but I don't know if that would work.
  14. I booked my May date back in August of last year. I had quite a few dates I didn't want so my choices were limited when it came down to what was actually available.
  15. Oh no, I was wanting to see some before and after pics of Jan Marini lash treatment and I found this article about it being recalled by the FDA. US Recall News: FDA Seizes Two Million Age Intervention Eyelash I guess there will be no full lush lashes for me Not without extentions at least. I'd rather not risk it since I already don't have the best vision.
  16. Great planning! I'm loving the orange with tourquoise (blues). That BM dress is geourgeous.
  17. I've never been to Cancun, but I googled it in spanish and came up with this site: ASUR > Airports > Cancún > Cancún International Airport It has a a pretty basic map of the airport (if it is the right one). Maybe you all can embelish and add directions to it. Thanks so much for starting this, I totally will be using your info.
  18. Ooh, haven't heard about Get Ready Packages, they sound like a great idea though. I would think a lot of similar things could be included like sun lotions, medicine packets, location maps or books. For my invites I'm sending real luggage tags, but that would be fun for these. How about passport covers, T-shirt with your logo or other fun travel theme, music cd with fun music from your location, sunglasses, flip flops, gel candle with seashells; pretty much anything beachy themed.
  19. Great job Morgan, especially with the sunburn. I did a similar thing with my grad pic, since I didn't like the ones the school took, and had a better looking one that my family took. I did a blurry stripy red background instead of black one, but I love how it looks with the more classic look. I so want to learn photoshop stuff but most of the time I get too frustrated to finish anything.
  20. Great thinking. I really didn't want to pay for the individual packs, and was just gonna bring one bottle and let others know we had some if they needed it. But this is a great idea to split them up in cute DIY packs.
  21. Haha! Dribble is gross! For the longest time, I had no idea why kept having to clean up pee down the front of the toiliet, Tim kept saying it wasn't him, must have been the dog, lol, yeah right! Anyways, I go a step further with the toilet rules: I absolutely must have both the toilet seat down and the toilet lid down. And I have to have massive amounts of toilet paper in the house at all times. It took a while but Tim rarely leaves the lid up now and he indulges my toilet tissue needs by buying large packs from Costco. He's awesome to put up with my quirks since he is one of five boys.
  22. So I talked to my sister/MOH (only attendant)and she found a dress she loves and it's an orangy persimmon color. I've been wishy washy on colors and changed them every other week. I don't have much decor but mostly what my guests will wear and little details like ribbon for girl fans and other accessories. So far my FMIL is wearing a blue and white floral patern flowy dress, think Chadwicks; my one FSIL is wearing a sky blue tea length strapless dress; and now my MOH will be in persimmon. I really want pink accent color with the orange. Does this work? Should I have the rest of my guests(less than 10 girls, boys will wear white/khaki): Option 1: All girls wear a bright Mexican/Beachy (pinks, blues, greens, orange, yellow) colored tea length or shorter dresses ( Iwant MOH to stand out in floor length dress, but still have everyone else be the rest of our 'party') ---------------What color bouquet if I go this route? I like pinks, whites, and greens, orange (but only with pink). OR Option 2: All girls wear a blue tea length or shorter dress -any shade of blue, except navy ---Can't find any pics that have shades of blues with persimmon and pink accents I'm all googled out! These are the only flowers I found that I like in Pink and Orange, I will be the only one with flowers, everyone else will have fans(palm fans for boys, sandalwood for girls w/colored ribbon) and white parasols. I might make shell or ribbon bout for the boys but I have to figure out colors first. So frustrated with this, even though I realize no matter what colors I choose or don't choose it will look great because of the beachy backdrop. Please help me picture my wedding in these colors. Oh yea, my gown is ivory pearl beaded lace and I think I'm wearing a mantilla veil. Ideas please, oh so talented BDW brides. TIA
  23. I don't have many guests, maybe two rows on either side of the aisle, so I don't think it will be an issue for me. I got the white parasols from Oriental Trading. Laura b's review has a good pic with her guests holding parasols. They are all pretty much straight up and not ove their shoulders. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t7952 So pretty, makes me wish I had gotten pink parasols too.
  24. Thanks! You all are awesome! Yay! I can't wait till my alterations next month so I can try on my dress with the mantilla again. Even FI had said to get what I want and not worry about the money, and now especially since his mom is willing to get it for me.
