  1. Corina- they turned out great! I bought supplies this weekend but have not even begun to attempt this.

I totally pulled out my camera took pictures of all the yummy food a I had last time I went to Guadalajara to visit my grandmothers. Have a great time!
  3. I uploaded a pic directly in the user CP. Photobucket is not working for me, for the billionth time, so I will try that route later.
  4. Okay, here is my March signature picture. I hope it works. Is it too small??
  5. Just thought I'd share this article from the UK of what is going on with the prices of gold and platinum. When we went wedding band shopping last month we were told they couldn't guarantee the pricing because they would be repricing with the market value of platinum. I say it's happening in the US already, so watch out for fluctuating pricing when your shopping for your wedding rings. Good luck everyone. 6. Thanks all for info on the videographer. Any one willing to share their video? I also finally received an email from the Juan Alfredo which was recommended by my Photographer. He will be sending me samples of his work. If anyone is interested I have his email, just PM me. Or am I allowed to post on here??

My e-ring and band are currently getting sized and my finger feels naked, can't imagine how you felt right after.
  8. Great review! That first part makes me so excited we chose a Destination wedding, it's exactly what I want for my wedding. Can't wait to see pics, sounds like you had an amazing time. Congrats!
  9. Cute stuff, makes me wanna be dress and high heels kinda girl all the time.
  10. Just want to say I love BDW! Every time I have a question stewing in my brain and I log on and find it’s on someone else brain too. Thanks for asking this, my shower is coming up on the 16 of March and I have nothing to wear. I need ideas before going shopping too. My shower will be more conservative as it will be mostly Tim’s family (my family is in Cali  ) and we will be having a crochet lesson and making granny squares for a keepsake afghan ( yup, I just exposed my little old lady side). Anyways, I need something cute but practical that says I really am young (er) and not in my 80’s. And it is still freezing here so something warm too.
  11. Here are some fun boy toy ideas: The boys in Tim’s family went ga-ga for this toy: ThinkGeek :: Dynaflex Powerball Gyroscope Useful while on vacation: ThinkGeek :: QuikPod Pro Handheld Tripod ThinkGeek :: Gorillapod
  12. Sorry to hear you've become a casualty of the economy Things always happen for a reason, though. Life has given you an opportunity to do more, be more, and oh yeah, plan an extra awesome wedding with your free time.

You rock! Thanks again!
  14. Trisha, thanks for sharing. Great pictures. Can't wait for the next half. Where did you go for the cavern pics? Is that near DT?
  15. Thanks for the warning. I'm really glad I already have my photographer! Poor guy is trying way too hard to capture the photojournalistic style and failing misserably
  16. Anybody use, DT's videographer? Who is everyone hiring for video? Or for those already married, who did you hire? Please share pricing, I really want a video but don't want it to be too much $$. I have been trying to get in touch (through my photographer) with the videographer that did the Lambert's wedding, but no luck yet. She also recommended someone else but was way out of my price range. TIA
  17. I voted for option three, too. Make it easy for yourself and worry about only one bouquet being perfect. Plus parasols rock for destination weddings, think about all the cool photos you'll have with your bridesmaids and their parasols.
  18. Thanks for posting, I have a thing for multi-purpose items, I must have one, plus these would be great for gifts/oot bags. Would you mind sending me a PM with names of ebay sellers that have ones that are like the Kariza wrap.
  19. Orange all the way! I love the dress, I may need to find one for my honeymoon.
  20. Congrats! I know you will find lots of info on here. I am not doing a site visit, but I'm only having less than 20 ppl.
