  1. No telemarketer calls for me, but I never answer 800 numbers. I did recieve the Mary Kay makeover offer but in the mail, and some other random wedding related stuff, but not sure it was DB or after registering at Target and BBB. The one really crappy part of DB for me so far is that they gave me the 'coupon book' but they were expired already or they expired like a month after I got my dress. I'm stopping by tonight to pick up my viel so I may ask to see if they new ones... I hope they are nice and give me one. I wanted the free shutterfly stuff and the one to Pennys.
  2. I love the ecofetti but also am considering bubbles. Any one traveled with bubbles? I'm affraid they would leak, any advice on packing? I need to order some tonight since Oriental trading is having a 15% off and free shipping. TIA

I found out I need new shoes, since the ones I had with crystals kept catching on the bottom. Oh and I tried the mantilla on again and I loved it still, so my FMIL ordered it for me and I'm going to pick it up tonight! Can't wait! My Bridal Shower was this past weekend and it went well, I had fun even though my family couldn't fly out here, but I'd rather they come to Tulum than to Columbus. I've been working on Thank You cards and thats taken forever. I still have so much to do with planning, but I can't seem to buckle down and get it done. I've procrastinated long enough though, I've been distracted and now I'm down to two months! Eeek! Happy Spring!!!
  4. I received video samples(yup, multiple weddings) from Juan Alfredo this weekend and they look pretty good. The music was great but audio of the actual video sound was a little hard to hear. No price list though so I have emailed him but no answer yet. I think its going to be between him and the DT videographer, I have to go back and watch both samples now.
  5. Congrats! That is so great! So happy for you, PCOS is no fun but I wish you the best!
  6. OMG Paula It's getting serious! -Level 3 in DE county huh? I don't even want to think about having to shovel our way out tomorrow! I still have so much to catch up on before my new appointment this Thursday. My super organized FMIL called me this past thurs and suggested I secure another date before the weather got bad and everyone that had to cancel today, rescheduled. So glad she is on top of this, she is awesome!
  7. That is hilarious! And so sweet and thoughtful of them.
  8. I was just at one and saw they had little signs by the drinking glasses that said you could order more online if you wanted larger quantities. Good to know! Thanks for posting.
  9. So today we are snowed in here in OHio and I can't go to my first dress fitting. It's kinda exciting to be in snowed in, there is currently a Blizzard Warning! I'm so not ready to get my dress altered, I haven't even thought about how I want it bustled. Oh, and I haven't lost any of the weight I wanted to, but hey I haven't gained any! I'm off to search for bustling information now, ciao~
  10. LOL!! Too funny! You so do not want to wear those boobie stickies if you need any sort of support. I wore some years ago to (oh yeah, must of been prom) and they really did a number on my girls. The adheasive really stuck on like it was supposed to but the weight just pulled at the sides and I ended up with blisters at the end of the night. Not fun!
  11. I think it's very smart and resourceful. Great thinking to save these.
  12. I was checking some wedding videos in my search for a videographer and found this one that has some nice ideas so I thought I'd share. Here are some things I loved about it: The four pole gazebo with the bright greenery, and the "veil" like tulle hanging off of it. The song: I need you - by Mark Anthony -I love the line that says: Won't you marry me? Tha Mariachi in the background The small group (looks about size of my group, so I can get an idea of what it will be like) The small simple cake with fresh flowers And ofcourse the bride is beautiful, her makeup looks really pretty, natural but looks extra special. Okay here it is (finally) Enjoy! YouTube - OUR WEDDING 1

My question is this, do you think I would stand out like a sore thumb against the teal wearing that bright pink or should I stick with finding a coral dress. We will be renewing our vows, so I'm not a new bride. It will be in Cabo on the beach. Our flowers are going to be a mixture of tropical colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you like this dress then I think pink would look great with teal. You would look lovely in pink with coral accessories like shoes, jewels and maybe even a wrap with all three colors in it.
  14. OMG! I wants it! Thanks for the link and sales. I've been eyeing this dress that is similar for years and stalking ebay for one with no luck. Lydia Silvestry, Infinite Dress This would be great for the honeymoon. I love the color choices on VS. Which one would be good for wearing on honeymoon? I'm thinking teal or black. Can't wait to see pics when someone finally receives theirs.
  15. Great job on these. Where did you get your postcards from?
  16. I guess I should update, although this would be great advice for others needing photographer info. I'm going with Vanessa Vargas as my photographer, she has done at least one other wedding from this forum, the Lamberts. I love her style and her pricing was very budget friendly. It has been great to work with her so far.
  17. Okay, here are pics of my e-ring and my wedding band, both of which I just got sized. It took me forever to find a band I liked, but I finally decided on this ring guard cause it just makes my ring sparkle even more! I was so happy to have my e-ring back I took a ton pictures of them, here are just a few. (sorry no matter how many times I resize in photobucket, they look the same size when i post) My e-ring: a diamond solitair with a twist(two small side stones) set in platinum My wedding band: a platinum ring guard E-ring + wedding band = Bling Bling!
  18. I voted for blue since it'll likely be the color all your girls will think they look good in. It would be hard to convince someone they look good in a color they've always thought clashed with their hair (orange). I personally like a combo of either teal or blue with the orange accents. That's what I'm doing, plus adding pink too.
  19. Best of luck getting this sorted out. I bet it won't take too long once you find the right people to talk to.
  20. This vase is like a bag and you add warm water to shape into a vase. It would pack flat and it's pretty inexpesive. It would look lovely with ribbon or other embelishments. What on Earth - A Collection Of Fun Wear & Delightful Diversions
