K, thanks. That must be why she hasn't gotten back to me - I was beginning to worry! Ugh I REALLY hope I get over this crud SOON! Last night was MISERABLE. I couldn't breathe through my nose at all - my sinuses were so incredibly stopped up. It made my mouth and throat hurt really bad because I had to breathe through them all night. My lips are super cracked too. I'm off to the doc again to see if they can give me something to help knock me out at night cause I know sleep is the best medicine!!! Stupid school doctors tho.... wish me luck!!!

What cuties!

Sounds like you guys got what you went for! Congrats on picking the hotel - that must feel wonderful!!!!! I'm getting kind of nervous for our site visit. Last time we went and we absolutely did NOT like any of the hotels we saw. So this time we're jumping over to the opposite side of Mexico (lol) hoping for something better!!! I am really hoping for something to just "hit me". I'd be really happy if that happened!

Get some good stuff and feel better soon! I didnt' have time to see a dr before we left (I literally got sick the afternoon before we were flying out) but I got some nasal spray (some kind of Afrin, moisturizing, 12-hour sinus somethin'!) and it worked like a charm! Made it possible for me to breathe! Also, the humid weather there acutally helped me out a TON, I felt SO much better after just being there for 24 hours. I'm glad you've got a few days to try and get rid of this though. I hope you feel better really really fast!!! Also, if you have time there's a restaurant you guys should absolutely check out. I'd try it for a lunch since it's a chill/casual kind of place. It's called Cuale Paradise..I can get the address if you want it. Although I think if you give a cab driver the name, they should be able to get you there. The food is real mexican...the resorts seem to do more tex-mexish IMO. . .and it's SO good! Also, the drinks are great (the ONLY pina colada I've ever actually liked in my life)...and it's right on the river. You can literally stand in the river and drink! Sounds funny but it's honestly so great. Everyone in our group that went still talks about it all the time. let me know if you want the info....I think you guys would like it. :-) I'm SO excited your trip is coming up so soon!!! You guys are going to love it! Thanks Rachelle! I just got back from the doc and she said she thinks it's a virus but gave me some antibiotics just in case. She also gave me some night time cough syrup (basically nyquill) and said to try guifinissin (sp?) and a mild decongestant. She said if it is a virus I should be feeling better in a few days. Keeping my fingers crossed...!!! Last time we flew down Martin had a lot of pressure in his ears. It was so bad that on the descent he was crying because they hurt so bad! So needless to say I'm a little scared of that happening to me this time! There are so many restaurants to check out - I hope we can remember them all! This one does sound neat. What area is it located in?

Welcome fellow PV bride!

Sorry, I don't know anything about LA but congrats and good luck!

Nice to have you back Jill! I'm glad the wedding went so well! Your tips at the end are priceless - I just read them to Martin. I need to research what meds to take down to Mexico (I know they're around here somewhere, just need to search). I am so afraid of getting a bug while down there. I've been sooo lucky thus far in my travels... CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time just seems to be whizzing right by ladies! It doesn't even feel like Christmas yet because it's been in the 80's the past few days and the leaves just started changing a couple weeks ago. It has really felt like fall, not Christmas season! I have so much shopping to do. My final critique (and last class) is on Wednesday and then I'm off until mid January - woohoo! Between work, school and everything else I just don't feel prepared for my site visit. I think next time I won't plan a vacation the week before Xmas It will be fun though - looking forward to it! I'm supposed to be meeting with Prisar on Mon. Dec. 17th @ 10am but haven't received a confirmation from her yet. (If you have her # would you mind PMing it to me??) Tuesday we will be heading out to Las Caletas for the day and to meet with Kelly there (Nicole will just miss us as she is flying back to the states the day we get there). We'll be staying at the Westin but I'm slightly nervous because I heard a bad review of it from someone we met yesterday. *shrug* Guess we'll see... Our TA is supposed to be working on trying to hook us up there but haven't heard back from her yet either. I'm sure everything will be fine though. We'll also of course be checking out the Mayan and any other places Prisar recommends. I keep hearing about Le Kliff restaurant so that's definitely on our list too! Walmart sells liquor there right? That will probably be one of our first stops for some cheap(er) drinks and snacks. Ooooh I'm getting excited now Maybe I'll get a chance to do a little Christmas shopping while I'm there too

WIthout further ado, here's my awesome gift from Brittney: I got some Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee and two mugs. The fron is a lotus flower and 'Namaste' and the back is the meaning on Namaste: "the Divine in me blesses and honors the Divine in you!" Thanks again Brittney, I really love it! What a great gift, Heidi! Guess you're out of the detective search game now...

Here's what they have to say about it: Sephora: Blinc Kiss Me Mascara: Mascara "Kiss Me Mascara is not an oil-based paint like most mascaras. It is a uniquely formulated mascara that forms tiny "tubes" around your lashes that will not smudge, run, clump, or flake and requires only water to remove." $24

My pics FINALLY!
JaimeLynne replied to RaydensMama's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
You look so BEAUTIFUL Laura!!!!! Wowzers! I really love all the dresses. My oldest sister did a B&W theme for her wedding (she's 16 years older than me so I was like 12). It looked really elegant.
