It sounds to me like he sort of volunteered. Would he have been invited regardless? I think it would be a nice gesture to offer to pay for either his flight or his accommodation but not necessarily mandatory. I think it just depends on how close you guys are. For example, my hairstylist is very close to me and my family. When she heard of our wedding she said she would come down and do my hair & makeup for free. I talked about how much the lodging and everything would cost and she spoke like she'd be paying for herself just like any other guest...

As for mascara, on a daily basis I use Maybeline but for going out I LOVE "Kiss Me" mascara which I discovered after getting a sample of it from Sephora. It REALLY stays on. It's like it wraps around your eyelashes forming thicker ones on top. You can sort of peel them off later (doesn't hurt) or they'll come off on their own but not until later the next day. My FI always says my eyes look so beautiful the morning after I put them on after a long night out so that says something Hope this helps

We did a site visit to the Lindo earlier this year. Personally we did not like it because of the size of the resort and the location choices of the ceremony. I also did not feel comfortable with the WC there. The rooms are nice tho and the resort is pretty - just really big.

I've never really liked Facebook. I hate how they always update you on every little dinky thing someone does. Now this is just getting ridiculous.

Mine was $400 for a 2-4 hour session (he ended up staying almost 6 hours tho). We get a handful of prints (can't remember exact details right now) and the cd. He also drove about 5 hours to get here and that was included in the cost.
