  3. May change this up but here's mine for now - my proposal/birthday flowers! They were sooo beautiful! I plan on incorporating at least the calla lilies into my wedding bouquet
  4. FBIL & FSIL just returned from their honeymoon here. They absolutely loved it. They rented a jeep from the Cancun airport and drove down to Tulum. They said driving in Mexico wasn't bad at all (thanks to the many speedbumps that makes everyone have to slow down). They really liked Tulum because it had hardly any signs of being "Americanized". The guy that owns this little hotel is from Argentina. FSIL showed me pics yesterday - I'll have to get her to send them to me so I can post them for you. It looks really cute and they said they had a great time and want to go back and buy a house there Also, Tulum is where the Corona commercials are shot - that's how they found out about it. Just an extra little tid bit.
  5. Oh Heidi, I hope you & Reggie have the most wonderful wedding of your dreams! Big hugs!!!!

Good idea - I also began with the starter kit. $34 is a steal!

Has anyone tried these and which ones? What worked and what didn't? I am preparded to spend the money on Bare Minerals but if I can find a comparable subsitite that would be great. At this point (1 month 19 days..lol) every cent counts! I would suggest going to a place like Sephora and have them help you out. They can really go in depth with you on what you are looking for and help you pick out brands that work for you. The best part is you can mix and match brands to get the best effects for YOUR skin. I went about a month ago and they were very helpful - I walked out with about $100 of new makeup and brushes but it was sooo worth it. Also, I use Bare Minerals on a daily basis and really like it for that because it is very lightweight but like Kat I also have some minor pigmentation issues (acne scarring, freckles, etc) so for a big night out I wear Armani (I think that's the one...) foundation + Stila concealer. I'm hesitant to try the other mineral "mimics" out there.
  13. Awww, look at your little angel! How sweet Martha
  14. That's neat to see how you've changed over the years and check out all the different styles. I've been a Junior Bridesmaid (oldest sis' wedding) and a Bridesmaid (middle sis' wedding). I would love to be in another wedding again soon (aside from my own )! I just love weddings - yes, I'm mushy

I completely understand your FI's hesitation with the boat ride - I felt the exact same way at first! Then we decided to "just go check it out" while we were on our site visit in PV. The WC we met with (Kelly) was so amazing and made me feel right at home. And the boat ride was so much fun! Pretty easy going ride. I say definitely go on a site visit if you can so he can see that the ride is not bad at all - in fact you'd be sad it was over if you didn't end up at the amazing, beautiful Las Caletas!
