Has anyone tried these and which ones? What worked and what didn't? I am preparded to spend the money on Bare Minerals but if I can find a comparable subsitite that would be great. At this point (1 month 19 days..lol) every cent counts! I would suggest going to a place like Sephora and have them help you out. They can really go in depth with you on what you are looking for and help you pick out brands that work for you. The best part is you can mix and match brands to get the best effects for YOUR skin. I went about a month ago and they were very helpful - I walked out with about $100 of new makeup and brushes but it was sooo worth it.
Also, I use Bare Minerals on a daily basis and really like it for that because it is very lightweight but like Kat I also have some minor pigmentation issues (acne scarring, freckles, etc) so for a big night out I wear Armani (I think that's the one...) foundation + Stila concealer. I'm hesitant to try the other mineral "mimics" out there.
