  1. Welcome, I'm also planning a May '09 Wedding.

  4. Jamy, you totally impressed me with that. I was checking out their VERY nice selection online. I think I will have the cabby take us there. Ok, this might be a dumb question but I live in Dallas where everyone is too busy driving their Hummers and Mercedes to even think taking a cab... If we had a cab take us there would we just have him wait for us outside for the return trip or let him go and try to get another cab once we're done...?

Great stories! I'll cross my fingers and hope I come home with a story like that.

  8. $322 r/t sounds wonderful to me! But, I'm coming from Texas... lol

Most have them have already said they wouldn't come if we do it in Mexico (thats OK by me! I wanted a small wedding anyway!!) We would like to do it either at La Casa Que Canta in Zihuatanejo or Las Ventanas in Cabo... but I can't make up my mind!!! I had originally planned for it to be in May 2008, but we have a ton of things on our plates right now... so I am thinking maybe I should postpone for a year?? HELP!! Hi there! I feel like I have a lot in common with you, lol - I'm getting married in PV, and am Scottish (born here, but I definitely have the fair skin & freckles to prove it, haha!). Also, I'm partial to May of '09 because that's when I'm getting married. We are planning Memorial Day Weekend (I think that's around the 24th of May). I hope it won't be too terribly hot by then. I may bug you for some details of PV if you don't mind. We're going there for a site visit later this month! Good luck and welcome to the forum, you'll love it here!

  12. Since we'll be staying at the Westin which is Non-AI, I figured we could save some mula by going and buying our own snacks and liquor. I know there is a place similar to 7-11 (oxox?) right across the street but I'm not sure if they will sell liquor, like tequila or vodka... Does anyone know if the Walmart there sells liquor? Or any other suggestions would be appreciated! The Westin is in the Marina area...
  13. "Bridezillas be warned: Giving up a little or a lot of control may drive you batty at first, but in the end you'll realize it's quite liberating to have a qualified professional take the reigns." I can relate to this a little bit...
  14. You look gorgeous! Everything comes together beautifully.
  15. Shoot, I think I missed you but I know you will have an amazing time!!!!
  16. I've read good things on Trip Advisor about a restaurant called Victor's. Apparently Victor himself comes out to take tequila shots with you.
  17. I am really liking the cupcake idea - Kash, I like how yours turned out. Oh, and ditto on wanting a cupcake right now!

  20. Hi, and welcome! I'm getting married in May of '09, so don't feel bad about planning so far in advance. Good luck with the planning!
  21. I love the "Meet the New Wades" pic - cute! And the ones of you doing a shot upside down, hilarious! Also the one of you on the bed writing your thank you letter to Maye - hot mamasita! Great pics!
  22. Wow Kash, those are stunning - you are so beautiful!!! I love the cupcake tree! (for lack of better description, lol) Everything looked amazing.
