Jonathan I'm really confused by all this. If you get one of these books made does that mean that the photog doesn't give you other pics as well? Or do you get both the book and the separate photos. These are really nice. Are these like the coffee table books that everyone talks about or am I confusing them? -Glenda

Ok so so far I have Sarah and Karla V who want them. Sarah I saw your website (which I love by the way) and I know exactly what color you want b/c that is the same color I want. I think I may mix and match light pink and fushcia ones. I am going to wait to see if anyone else wants them. I will def go before the end of this month. I think even with this quantity I should be able to get them cheap. My friend just went last week and bought a black one and it cost her $5. Each vendor charges a different price which makes it difficult sometimes b/c one vendor may not have enough. Obviously I will try to get the best price possible. But let me know what is the most you are willing to spend on one so that I know whether or not I should get it. -Glenda

Ok girls I promised to start the thread so here it is. For all the girls that want to give Pashmians out to their guests so they can snuggle in the cool night weather, please let me know if you want me to get them for you. For those who didn't read prior threads, I live in New York and can get Pashs for really cheap (last time I checked 3 for $5). They pretty much have every color imaginable but I have to be honest and tell you that they are fake (imitations) so do not expect Bloomies Pashminas. But I have purchased them before and they feel nice and are not crappy. Plus, I sincerely think your guests will care, they will just be happy to have a free gift to keep them warm. They come in all colors and come in plain or with designs. These designs are pretty much embossed into the pash so they are not out there. If we get a lot of girls who want them, they I will go once and try to get us all the best deal possible. I must warn you however, that b/c they are small shops we cannot return them (they don't give receipts) and it's possible that I will not be able to get a huge quantity in one color. If you are interested send me a PM with your address and how many you one, and if possible post a sample of the color you want so I can have an idea. -Glenda

We are also the first to do a DW. I am so excited. It's true so many people are scared to do one. A girl I know just did one in Jamaica and she had 150 guests and people keep ranting and raving about it, so it can't be all bad!! -Glenda

Jen I am sure there are tons of places that you can hold a private ceremony on. I am just curious, why doesn't your FI want to do it in Mexico if you love las Caletas so much. Ann is getting married there and it seems like such a gorgeous place. Is there a specific reason why he is so against it. Ann I wish I knew about the legalities in Hawaii but I actually don't. I can't imagine that it is too complicated but if you want to be certain for sure get a calling card and call up the courts there to see what they say. I feel like this is going to be so romantic. Actually the girl I know who got married in Mata is from there. She has lived there her entire life and is Mexican so no, there was no language barrier. But she said the problem she had was that there are few AI's and they were kind of limited with what she wanted. I guess they don't have a wide variety of things and a lot of "trendy" things have to be shipped in which makes it difficult and costly. I will ask her to be more specific so that I can let you know what she means by this. BTW Christine I can't help it, I'm hooked. Full fledged addicted. There is actually a good chance that I will be fired from being on this website so much. -Glenda

I completely understand your situation. I have a million people that I "have" to invite as well. I'm actually shocked that so many of your guests agreed to go. You know what though? People can say what they want, but when it comes down to booking I'm sure a lot of them will have tons of excuses on why they can't go. What I plan to do is invite everyone so no one feels offended but I'm sure a lot of them won't end up going. Also, I don't know if your sold on the Sheraton but Dreams in Cabo does $44 per person which would cut your cost a little bit. Also, Tammy (the host) is a great travel agent who specializes in DW. I am using her and she is usually able to quote people much lower prices than other TA's. Also Edyta is having a Cabo wedding and flying from Canada so you should speak to her about prices. I don't know if this helps but good luck with all the planning. Btw I do hope you go with Cabo b/c my aunt told me that it was a pain for her cousin to work with vendors in Matazlan even though it was cheaper. -Glenda
